Next is the FA Cup at Tottenham so there will be a few changes but nothing major. Matty James is suspended, Kasper Schmeichel and Matt Upson are out injured. Esteban Cambiasso should be fit as should Dean Hammond. Riyad Mahrez is away with Algeria but apart from that there are no injuries. So here is what I would pick Schwarzer Simpson Morgan Wasilewski De Laet Albrighton King Drinkwater Knockaert Ulloa Kramaric Subs- Hamer, Moore, Konchesky, Hammond, Lawrence, Vardy, Nugent
I would have Cambiasso on the bench and give him 25 mins or so, as I think he will certainly start against Man Utd.
I'd go with this - part 'experimentation' and part to give some a proper run out ... Schwarzer Schlupp Moore Morgan Simpson Albrighton Hammond King Knockaert Ulloa Kramaric
With big league games coming up I think we need to protect some players for those while giving some others an opportunity so for me Schwarzer Konchesky Moore Wasilewski De Laet King Knockaert Albrighton Hammond Lawrance Kramaric Would like to get a Ulloa/Kramaric combination going but Leo looks tired so would rest him and Morgan
Theres nothing to gain by playing Cambiasso. He would be much better rested for the week and then having him fully fit for the Man U game
Krammy should start this one. Give him a 90 min run out, it´ll do him good & it´ll be nice if he bangs one in too.
I'd like to make sure we have Hammond fit for the Man Utd game, but would also like to give him some match time before then, too. I'd probably play him for half a game. And Ulloa and Kramaric also need a half together before Man Utd. It would be a good opportunity for Moore to get a full match under his belt again. Apart from that I don't care much who plays. I'd just like to see us give a good account of ourselves going forward and not give any gifts away at the back.
