So what would people play against Torquay in the League cup on Tuesday. I would go with Schmeichel Moore Whitbread Morgan Kennedy Gallagher King James Knockaert Waghorn Beckford Subs Logan, De Laet, Danns, Drinkwater, Marshall, Schlupp, Futacs, If Whitbread isn't fit then put Moore in the middle and De Laet right back. I think Dyer will start against Peterborough so Knockaert should get a chance here. Marshall, Danns and Drinkwater will start against Pboro. But I think the starting place with Nugent is between Beckford and Vardy So what would you play?
Dont think Nuge is a defo starter against Posh after today. Stringer reckons that ZW is a couple of weeks away. Cant see us putting our strongest 11 out. Chance to give the younsters an opportunity
The midfield and strike partnerships of the 1st half were very good today and I think they should be allowed to continue and be told its their shirts to lose from now. Aside from that, I'd mix it up a bit and let the first choice players rest up ahead of Saturday and also give guys like Gally and Kennedy who didn't get a run out today a game. Although i want to see youth get a chance against Torquay think its a balancing game as dont want to see us go out at tis stage think although Kasper looked as confident as ever another game before saturday wont hurt and ive already said im not keen on Logan! so i would like to see.
