Jamie Vardy is a doubt with injury but apart from that everyone is fit and available. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Wasilewski Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater James Dyer Nugent Wood Subs- Logan, Moore, King, Hammond, Knockaert, Taylor-Fletcher, Phillips
Knocky hasn't done too much wrong and whilst Lloyd does have incredible pace, the end product is often lacking ... I'd only change the team that started against Burnley for injuries/fitness issues ...
I´d 2nd that. I´d bring Dyer on after 65 - 70 mins, depending on how the games going, to inject some pace v a team that´s starting to tire out. Wood after about 60 to give them a different type of FOR to contend with & then maybe Phillips for Nugent after 75 mins to see if he (phillips) can get a bonus goal. So yeah the same v Burnley for me.
I think this is our best XI plus De Laet. Get about 6 more players in in the summer (get rid of 6 `deadwoods`) & we will have a chance of doing well next season. I think Mahrez will be one that a few team try & nick off us come winter or the end of next season. Use Southampton as an i.e
OPPS! didn´t notice Vardy wasn´t in. Yes Vardy plus De laet & the other 10 minus Wood, these are, imo our best XII players. I understand what I mean. No dis-respect to Wood btw.
Knockaert has been ok recently but he isn't hitting the standards he can hit. Abit of a rest and a kick up the arse could bring the best out of him again
@StringerSport: Nigel Pearson has confirmed Jamie Vardy’s injury may not be as bad as once thought but won’t play tomorrow #LCFC
I wonder if he'll choose the same team that drew at Wigan. In theory a team that can draw against Wigan away should be able to beat Sheff Wed at home.
Dont take Wednesday as a soft touch they already beat us And should a team that beat Burnley away be able to beat Yeovil at home?
Thats why its only in theory. I think the Yeovil match prooved that things don't always goto plan, even at home.
