Matty James is out while David Nugent is a doubt. Apart from that everyone else is fit. With us already safe it will allow Nigel to mix things up a little with the pressure off and QPR playing for nothing aswell. So here is what I would play Schmeichel Wasilewski Huth Morgan Albrighton Drinkwater Cambiasso Schlupp Knockaert Vardy Kramaric Subs- Schwarzer, De Laet, Moore, King, Mahrez, Ulloa, Wood
Kasper Moore Huth Morgan Albrighton Cambiasso King Schlupp Mahrez (his farewell appearance i presume) Ulloa Kramaric This allows us to rest Vardy who has been playing with pain injections, see what kramaric can do and see what Moore can offer going into next season. Would be good to get knockaert on at some point to say goodbye.
Cant see Mahrez leaving now were staying up. Knockaert has already gone so I would play him for a farewell appearance but I can't see anyone leaving who the club want to keep
I do think mahrez will go and i have no complaints if he does - he has come here, developed and is better than us now and has never been anything other than a true professional.
Agreed Ed - Vardy needs a rest. Cambiasso needs to be subbed around 85 mins so we can thank him. Would also like to see Kramaric play without any pressure on the result. My wife said she hopes QPR game aint gonna be like the Brighton game last season. Personally coulnt give a monkeys, but a couple of Ulloa goals would go down nicely.
I don't have Pearson down as the sentimental type and so very much doubt he will pick Knockaert ahead of the other players. Def should get Vardy on the operating table now asap he has done his bit for us as so give Kramaric a full 90 mins Going to be a big pre season for him to get stronger and a big season ahead for him to get to grips with the Premier League
............. and DD has had his 12 month adjustment period - hoping for a big season from him next year.
I wouldnt say he is better then us. He has a lot of talent and a very good footballer who still has a lot to learn and is looking to push on and we are exactly the same as a club. At the minute he is better off staying here and I think he will
I agree, Drinkwater has the ability and I think a lot of our players needed that year to adjust like Drinkwater, King, Vardy, Schlupp, James etc. But it didn't look like they was going to get that year but now they have it. Next season aim should be to have a comfortable year, not pull up any trees but not be troubled with relegation trouble
I want us to finish above Villa .. so it's strongest side for me ... think Nige needs to have a chat with Drinky ... all he did when he came on yesterday was to go around giving away needless free-kicks ... which is easier to do than taking responsibility, keeping possession and doing something with it ...
Agreed Fosse - but the majority of those were in their half. They either played it short or walloped it to Huth or Was (thought Was was magnificent yesterday).
Fast becoming the "3 Amigos" at the back ... easy now to see why Wasyl was such a cult hero at Anderlecht ... One more to throw in there ... seems to me that Cambiasso has been the catalyst behind Jeff Schlupp's monumental improvement ... whenever Jeff has the ball in the left back position his first instinct seems to look inside because he knows that Esteban will have got to within 10 yards of him ... just get the feeling that Esteban's encouragement and direction is giving the young lad such self-belief .. like giving Nathanial Clyne a 5 yard start then going past him like Usain Bolt ...
Is it written is Wasyl contract he must wallop someone every game? Mane got it last week and Pantillimon this week ****ing love it. Huth, Morgan and Wasyl. 3 nasty bastards who gives strikers no change
Vardy deserves a rest, hes aparently been on painkillers to get through recently and we don't want him being hampered by the injury early next season. Lets look towards next season.
We COULD finish above West Brom too, so, if we instigate a slight boundary change to get Stoke classed as a northern team, we could finish up top of the midlands!
