FA cup time. Danny Simpson and Wes Morgan could make their comebacks as could Robert Huth. No injuries or suspension so its a full squad to choose from. So here is what i would go with

    Hamer

    Amartey
    Dragovic
    Maguire
    Fuchs

    Gray
    Iborra
    Silva
    Barnes

    Iheanacho
    Okazaki

Subs- Jakupovic, Benalouane, King, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Ulloa

Full strength for me. We've never won the FA cup and all the big teams are looking at consolidating top four and champions league. We won't go down or make top four so we should go all out for it. Villa came unstuck against Posh in round 3 with a weakened team, so we shouldn't take them lightly.

Seems a good game to get the old guard back up to speed.

    Hamer
    Simpson - Huth - Morgan - Fuchs
    Iborra - Silva
    Thomas - Barnes - Gray
    Iheanacho

Sounds harsh - I think he’s been alright actually aside from the odd dodgy pass.

Red card walking. Think he has been lucky that his red mist moments haven't connected.

Would like to see Amartey a CB - if only we had another RB...

This is starting to have parallels with the title winning season now - shipping goals and then change the defence slightly and now it’s 5 clean sheets in 5...

In terms of the league, surely it can’t be changed

Only Maguire remains of our back 4 who started this season - our defense has gone from Simpson-Morgan-Huth-Fuchs to Amartey-Dragovic-Maguire-Chilwell and the average age has dropped from 32.25 to 23.5.

This is Puel's MO - over the last decade, no manager in Europe has given more opportunities to young players than him.

    3-0 Iheanacho

More action and quality in the first 30 mins of this match than most of both legs v Fleetwood.

Where was this performance in either Fleetwood game <laugh>

Seems like the squad players playing today are fired up and looking for starting places on Wednesday.

I guess this is why we are having such a quiet transfer window <ok>

Perfect answer to the experts criticism of our team selection. Why we didn't put in this sort of performance against Fleetwood I don't know.
