There will be a few places up for grabs for saturday. Matt Mills is suspended so either Sean St. Ledger or Aleksandar Tunchev will come in. I would go with St. Ledger purely for the fact he has played more football recently and he has done quite well. Apart from that the back 5 will be unchanged. In the midfield Richie Wellens and Neil Danns both has poor games last week so there places might be up for grabs aswell. Gelson Fernandes played and scored 4 for the reserves yesterday. He did well when he came on against Hull aswell. Andy King had a good game and should keep his place. Paul Gallagher will probaly come in for Neil Danns. David Nugent and Jermaine Beckford will probaly keep their place up front. So here is the team i would play

    Schmeichel

    Peltier
    Bamba
    St. Ledger
    Konchesky

    Gallagher
    Fernandes
    King
    Dyer

    Nugent
    Beckford

    Subs

    Weale, Tunchev, Wellens, Schlupp, Howard

I want Tunchev to come in - St Ledger hasn't impressed me in any game that I've seen him in.

Hmmmm not sure I get the logic - Tunchev has played far more Championship games this season than St Ledger ... but more importantly is a far better player (also far better than Mills IMHO)!

Further, fernandes got 4 goals against a Notts County RESERVE side! ... his penalty at Cardiff will not get me risking any money on him as a first (or last) goalscorer..

    For me -

    Schmeichel
    Peltier
    Tunchev
    Bamba
    Konchesky

    Wellens
    Gallagher
    Dyer (if fit)
    King

Nugent (would be happy to see Schlupp given a chance instead)
Beckford (likewise would be happy to see Schlupp given a chance instead)

Peterborough can't defend to save their life but they score goals for fun. I think this is the type of game Jermaine Beckford will flourish in

    I'm going with 4-2.

Down 2-1 at half time before doing what Sven rarely did and coming from behind to win it easily.

0-0 is very unlikely with Peterborough involved

They cant defend and score goals for fun

Yes, and we haven't had a draw at home either. So Sod's Law says 0-0!

Was that the 4-0 against Watford when they were top of the league? or was that Martin Allen era?

It was just with Hull where he couldn't score.

What with a strikeforce of Fryatt, McLean and Dele Adebola

Yeah just had a quick look. That game cost us the playoffs IMO.

If Howard didn't get sent off I don't think we'd have lost at home. Waggy can't play the lone striker role well enough and we were never going to score
