Just throwing this out there to pass the time. If you were the Gaffer would you go for it against Liverpool or rest a few players for the Spurs game? I think we all know what MB will do.
I’m not sure it matters to be honest, we’re so poor at the moment, we’ll not beat Liverpool or Spurs, might as well give a few of them two games off. Looking at our games vs Everton and Manchester who would you be worried about getting injured? Nobody has shone, nobody has stood out as irreplaceable. Both Struijk and Llorente have lost it, I’m just lost as to why we are so bad
Luckily Spurs are still chasing a top 4 spot so they'll have to go for it against Burnley. I hope they win but also get clogged to death in the process Need Palace to win at Watford as well. It's a big night for the relegation battle
In an ideal world I'd rest as many of the outfield players as possible, but it'd be disrespectful to the league and most importantly the travelling fans.
I don't think it matters which team we put out at the moment because I think our confidence has gone. There is always a team that gets dragged into the bottom three and unfortunately we are that team. Without meaning to sound negative, I just can't see us getting anything from the likes of the pool, spurs, chelsea, man city, arsenal. Wolves, palace and Leicester away won't be easy, then we've watford, norwich which are must not lose games.
Assuming Robin Koch is unavailable: ………………….…….Meslier……………………..… ………….Ayling……..Llorente………Struijk……….. ………………………..Dallas………………………… …………..Klich…………………..Forshaw…………. ………………………..Rodrigo………………………. Raphinha…………………………………….Harrison …………………………James……………………….
I would rest every player we got, wrap them in cotton and store them in a safe place so they don’t get injured. And then only use them against teams we actually could get some point from. That means that I would use everyone from the tea lady to the top management in all the other game
Good morning all fellow sufferers Who ever we play, i think we have got to go more defensive to keep the score down possibly a 4-4-2 formation, we are conceding far to many goals and our goal difference is getting worse in each game we play, could by the end of the season cost us a valuable priceless point, but will a leopard (Bielsa) ever change its spots.
Doesn’t always work like that Norway. We should always play our strongest available team. We got 3 unexpected points at West Ham by doing that, which we wouldn’t have done if we’d fielded a weakened side. If we do end up getting relegated I’d rather we did so all guns blazing than raise the white flag and surrender. This team knows only one way of playing and like it or not that’s kamikaze style. Too late in the season to change that now. We should just carry on doing the same instead of throwing in the towel and go down with a whimper. No doubt there’s more hammerings to come but also some unexpected points won here and there. It is what it is.
We cant play 3 at the back Forza, back 4 minimum, so here is my set up...... ...................................Meslier................................... ........Ayling.......Llorente....Cresswell....Struijk.......... Raphinha.......Dallas......Forshaw.......James.......... .........................Rodrigo..................................... ................................Gelhardt.............................. I could be even tempted to start Bate instead of Dallas or Forshaw, as for Firpo that is a waste of skin, either he is still injured (but the great Amigo wont play injured players) or he is just plain poor, so why the fck did we buy him may i ask, and yes i am still pissed off over yesterday.
That's a good set up in my book Infidel, just the kinda team i was thinking along the lines of now over to you mr Bielsa.
Who ever we put out it just means we're going to get rolled over. If we field a weaker team against Liverpool the FA will come down on us like a ton of bricks. I remember when Wolves did it against Man Utd and Big Mick got a bollocking off the FA>
