After defeat to QPR we are bottom of the league and need to get some points ASAP. Liverpool are going through a rough patch but will be expected to come here and win. No injuries other then Dean Hammond so here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    De Laet
    Moore
    Morgan
    Schlupp

    Albrighton
    Cambiasso
    Drinkwater
    Mahrez

    Vardy
    Ulloa

Subs- Hamer, Wasilewski, Knockaert, King, James, Nugent, Wood

It's a shame Liverpool managed a late winner v Stoke today. Taken a little pressure off them coming to our place now.
It would be typical of City to go andturn them over wouldn't it. <doh>

Don't think James has done enough recently to warrant a starting line up, all huff and puff from him
I agree with Proud and get DD back in the team. He may have had the kick up the ass he needed and get back to the sort of form he was showing last season.
I think Kasper is too comfortable too and time to give Hamer his chance. Nothing to lose, it's currently not working so time to change things up Pearson. Give Albrighton a decent run too. ( will be interesting if Cambiasso has the legs for 2 games in close succession He is getting fitter by the week though.

    Hamer
    Simpson. Morgan. Moore. Schlupp
    Mahrez. DD. Cambiasso. Albrighton
    Ulloa. Vardy

Id be giving Kasper a rest if i was NP, needs to up his game if that performance was the norm. Have you got a decent back up to challenge him?

Oddly enough Queenie, until Kaspers clean sheet last week, te only one we'd had all season was when he was injured and Hamer played against Stoke and had a great game. I never though much of it at the the time but he probably does deserve another chance so yeah, he is a decent back up I'd say.

Well done on yesterday, gutted for us as I feel we're done for now but credit to QPR, 3 wins all season but at home to us, Villa and Sunderland and that is how to stay up. Not how we're handling it

Cheers John...seems to me that Kasper needs a serious kick uo the arris...i like him as a keeper and have him in my FFT but that was a terrible display.

drop him now and find out what he's made of. Its either "fight or flight" and you'lll soon know

On the plus side..like the look of Mahrez and he ould be at a big team next season. not sure what his attitude is like and if its like Adel, then its wasted. thing is he looked a decent player against us.

Time for the team to close ranks and aim on consolidating thier position. No outside influences and no media...Your players have shown thier abilities against bigger teams...Now is time for the hard slog into next year. every leader you have needs to stand up and be counted......or you'll be eaten alive.."Thats the Prem" !

    good luck <ok>

    I´d say 10 DEF´s & a GK & go for a 0-0... Sunderland managed to do it v Chelsea.

No na attitude in Mahrez at all Queens, just a lad who has come from France and enjoying playing. Has a bit of swagger on the field but never any off field problems as far as we're aware like Knockaert for example. I'd like to see Hamer play and why has Simpson still not had a chance over De Laet!! I'd like to see

    Hamer
    Simpson
    Moore
    Morgan/was
    Konch

    Mahrez
    Cambiasso
    Drinkwater/James
    Schlupp

    Vardy
    Ulloa

Or the same but Schlupp at lb and Albrighton on the wing

Thats good John, if Mahrez has the right mindset then he'll be ok.

We'll all be in this come May...just pick points where you can ,ok>

Simpson in for De Leat and Hamer for Schmeicel. Oh and don't let James take any more corners either!

I'd keep roughly the same team, but possibly bring in Simpson or Moore in at RB. I like De Laet, but he's been playing poorly recently and despite there being competition for his place, it doesn't seem like it. Even if he plays badly he knows he'll still be in the team. We need to treat this one as another Man Utd game; another cup final. Just think of all the glory-hunting Liverpool supporters you know, and get behind the team! Target their ****ty centre halves!
(p.s. I might put a cheeky bet on Balotelli breaking his goal duck against us, anyone else think this is inevitable?).

I'd like to see us getting the full backs forward more and try to pin the oppositon back. For me that means putting Schlupp in place of Konch. Also a bit worried about the lack of pace in the centre of defence, so would bring back Moore. Mahrez needs to improve his defensive work as he was caught napping for QPR's first goal. And it's time for Hamer to come back and see if we have a keeper who can command the 6 yard box.

I'd go for 2 holding midfielders to shore up that hole in front of the defence where Stirling likes to operate, and try and counter attack with speed down the flanks.

    I'd start with:
    ..........................................................Hamer........................................................

    .............Simpson...................Morgan.................Moore......................Schlupp...........

    ..................................Cambiasso...........................Hammond..................................

    ................Vardy..............................Drinkwater.......................Mahrez......................

    ..........................................................Ulloa...........................................................

I have a feeling you'll beat Liverpool - scoring those two goals (albeit in a loss) - has the proverbial monkey gone - and liverpool arent very good at the moment. As miami said, shame for you they got the winner against stoke otherwise the pressure would mainly be on Rodgers.

I agree with most of the above.

Give Hamer another game in goal, looked good against Stoke, and arguably can't do much worse than Kasper at the weekend...

And Simpson at RB... Why did we sign him, if we weren't going to play him!? I think De Laet has had a poor season so far, he just relies on his pace to cover his mistakes, which you could do at Championship level, but not here...

Great that we got a win to give us a bit of confidence going into this game, also bad though that Johnson will now start. Prediction wise I have no idea we're pretty bad at the moment anything could happen.

Will be very interesting to see who Rodgers picks... Lallana, Moreno, Can and Manquillo didn't feature on Saturday...

We have a lot of options just very little confidence and a big hole in our attack with no Sturridge.

Real must win for us though, no excuses.

Of the sides we could be playing right now, Liverpool is not that bad a proposition ... good result at the weekend but their defending against Ludoritzbiscuits was as poor as ours was against the dramas ... should be an exciting game as any ball into the box could well end up in the net ...
