Right Tuesday night it's Huddersfield again in the FA Cup replay. With the winners playing Wigan on saturday. Sean St. Ledger played a full 90 today for the under 21s so he might be able to make the bench. Chris Wood missed today so probably won't be risked for Tuesday. I would experiment a little with it being the cup So here is what I would play Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konchesky (Schlupp if he is back from Man U) Gallagher Wellens James Dyer Knockaert Nugent Subs St. Ledger, Keane, Drinkwater, King, Futacs, Waghorn, Vardy
Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Marshall King James Knockeart Futacs Nugent Subs: Logan, St Ledger, De Laet, Drinkwater, Gallagher, Waghorn, Schlupp Vardy i'm afraid needs to be loaned out to someone more his level of football. I've said it before and i'll say it again that Pearson needs to swallow his pride and admit that his gamble on Vardy hasn't worked....or at least hasn't worked yet.
Not a bad thing, they would probably have been rested anyway even if not injured. Dyer in for Marshall. Rest a few legs. A win would be a bonus, a loss I would not be that bothered about to be honest (though of course I'd like us to win and win well!!!)
Ideally I'd like to see the reserves going on a bit of a cup run, but obviously that's a tall order. I just don't want any of our key players getting injured.
Schmeichel de laet, wes, keane, konch, Gally, King, James, Dyer Waggy Futacs Logan, Moore, Knock, Drink, Nugent, Vardy We do need some rests i think. If we get through this one then I would bring in nugent, drink and knock for wigan.
I want us to win this and have a crack at a Premier League team, will be a good indication as to whether we're worthy and could lift the players. Will be interesting to see the team though, I quite like a bit of variety as it gives us chance to see players normally unseen. I'd like to see Schlupp recalled and starting in the attack.
http://cricfree.tv/live/index.php Here you go Moulton. I came across this website the other day. Its great, especially for me out here in the States as I can watch Sky Sports/Euro Sport/ESPN all live and the quality of the steaming is excellent.
I´d like to see Waggy up front with Nugent, basicy waggy to take Wood´s place & then the best other 10 available. Watching it on the PC so in a way I really hope we win as I don´t get to see City play to often, BUT I can´t help but think I wish we was out the cup. We have far to many games in March & April & I think it´ll all get to much for us for a 2nd place finish. Hope I´m wrong though. "UTF"
team announced Schmeichel Moore Morgan Keane Konchesky Gally James Wellens Knockeart Futacs Nugent Subs: Logan, Moore, Vardy, Drinkwater, Dyer, Waghorn, King
Huddersfield make 6 changes including a 41 year old goalkeeper so maybe they are thinking more about the league than the cup
Both line ups Leicester v Huddersfield (1930 GMT) Leicester: Schmeichel, De Laet, Keane, Morgan, Konchesky, James, Gallagher, Wellens, Knockaert, Futacs, Nugent. Subs: Logan, Drinkwater, Vardy, King, Dyer, Waghorn, Moore. Huddersfield: Bennett, Dixon, Wallace, Gerrard, Woods, Sinnott, Arfield, Atkinson, Clayton, Scannell, Lee. Subs: Colgan, Norwood, Gobern, Tom Clarke, Vaughan, Hunt, Crooks. Referee: James Adcock (Nottinghamshire) You have to fancy a City win looking at these.
Pretty happy with that team, though why aren't we giving Moore a game instead of De Laet? Good to see a start for Futacs, haven't seen much of him at all really so this will be interesting. Also good to see starts for Wellens and Gallagher, they may prove vital squad players during the run-in. Surprised we started Nugent, would have just played Waghorn myself.
