Jamie Vardy and Paul Konchesky missed Saturdays win over Watford with hamstring strains. Both should be fit but wont be rushed back. Ritchie De Laet is still a few weeks away from returning but other then that there is no new injury concerns. Chris Wood is away on international duty. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel Moore Morgan Wasilewski Schlupp Knockaert King Drinkwater Dyer Nugent Vardy Subs- Logan, Miquel, Konchesky, James, Hammond, Taylor-Fletcher, Hopper
How stupid is that! Well Vardy will come straight back in and Tom Hopper will probably get the bench. Could this mean Nigel might bring Konchesky back in for Schlupp if he wants a back up striker with a bit of experience rather then Hopper or he might see GTF as that man. He might want a fresh Jeff Schlupp to come on
With Forests 2 central defenders out for 10 weeks, think Vardy will definitely play if fit. Can see a penalty coming our way.
Jack will want to prove a point ... but if he is still as incredibly susceptible to a 'dummy' as he was to Carlos Tevez then Nuge could end up with a hat-trick
The lad who got sent off is a winger not a CB. I think he'll go with same team but if wood is unavailable GTF could get nod if vardy isn't worth risking.
Hobbs was a very good defender for us. To remember 1 game against the best striker in the prem at the time is harsh
Dont rule Wood out yet City might be without the services of Wood against Nottingham Forest on Saturday as he could be called up for international duty with New Zealand. "It's a question mark, but I'll be talking to New Zealand and, hopefully, we can come up with a positive outcome," said Wood.
Tevez was the 'best striker in the prem at the time' hmmmmmm ... poor Jack probably had a headache that day too ... but joking aside, and for the record, my opinion of Hobbs is not based on one game but on his time with us ... compared with/to a lifetime of ewatching centre-halves at Leicester City .... Graham Cross, John Sjoberg, Larry May, John O'Neil, Steve Walsh, Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart were all excellent centre halves ... so is Wes Morgan ... Jack was/is distinctly average ... but still has time to develop admittedly ... but it's all about opinions after all.
Schlupp needs to start imo. Is he 1 of those that their contract is running out ? < that does´t sound right
Who believes in Omens? I have a bad feeling about this match and this is why, We have a 2 week break after this game. Forest owe us one after our heroics last season preventing there play off dreams! Hobbs is bound to score! This is my first match this season Still omens could be a load of bollox.......
If we lose im writing to Leicester to ban you for the rest of the season Our home form cant keep going this well, but lets get everything we can out of it for as long as we can.
Chris Wood has been called up into the New Zealand squad but we are in talks with them about delaying Wood's departure until after the Forest game. West Ham are also trying to do the same with Winston Reid
if wood and vardy aren't available I've got no qualms about GTF getting a start. even if he's not up to speed fitness wise I'm sure he can do a job. if we need to change the system as the game progresses we showed at Watford we can play 1 through the middle and let the midfield support
