Matty James will miss the game after having his appendix removed. Jamie Vardy is also out but Jeff Schlupp returns. No other injuries. This game is massivs in the sense Doncaster can still get relegated. The game also marks the last game in Kevin Phillips career. So here is what I would play Schmeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp King Drinkwater Knockaert Mahrez Dyer Nugent Subs- Logan, Wasilewski, Konchesky, Hammond, Taylor-Fletcher, Wood, Phillips
I think Nige should go with proud's team ... although he does mention that the absentees gives others an opportunity ... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/M...ester-City-s/story-21042500-detail/story.html ... not sure if this means there might be a couple of surprises ... ... the ease with which Sean Scannel went past Konch last Saturday might convince Nige to bring Jeff Schlupp straight back in despite a clean sheet against the Udders ..
Last chance for Schlupps world cup campaign to. For me: Kasper De Laet Morgan Was Schlupp Drinkwater Hammond Mahrez King Dyer Nugent - Hammond just gives you that little but more soliditary
Matty James played last week with appendicitis?! I'm taking some solidarity with him, as I will also have to miss this final game because of recovering from surgery.
What are the chances against Phillips making a last appearance? No room for sentiment in football - but we are champions already.
The way you've explained it balances it out, if we were needing a win for the title, he would have less chance of playing, but we have already broke our points record and have the Champions trophy. Theirs probably going to be some miserable b@$1@7d bemoaning Phillips playing on the phone-in afterwards if we don't reach 100 points.
We're already champions and he deserves a final appearance. The old misers will moan about something regardless, bugger 'em.
I would assume that there would be coverage of the trophy, so their may be an online stream available on the day. Sky Sports are following the playoff race matches.
think NP will pick a strong team as if would be unfair on the others in the relegation dog fight. after all he conducts himself as the professional he is, wouldnt be surprised if kp inst playing for him to join Birch on the run
Apparently the players of both clubs do a lap with him during their warmup, i don't remember them going round with Birch before. KP will definatly get an appearance, likely GTF will not get his usual 20 mins. This is of course baring injuries that occur when we've already made 2 subs.
