Jol has now had a couple of matches to get an idea of his favoured line up. However, with Mr Khan attending the match he will no doubt want to impress and choose to go on the offensive from the start.

What do you reckon on this team starting?

Switch Kaka and Kasami, otherwise yes looks like a fun team

Score 2-2 Fulham won on Penalties 5-3
    Scores Ruiz and Rodallega

    ------------Ruiz---------------
    ------------Rodallega-----------

Went 1-0 down after 26 minutes then Ruiz equalised 3 minutes later, then went 2-1 up before HT
in the 39th minute but the equaliser came in the 69 minute. So to penalties Fulham scored all 5 with
Rodallega scoring the winner after Saprissa had missed their 3rd?

Jol obviously decided to play the rotation/rest game and that starting line-up was not exactly our strongest

By all accounts it was a bruising first half when we more than held our own, physically that is. Notwithstanding that we apparently played some good one touch football. The second half, a tad more disappointing,

The reports say Mesca looked good and Kasami as well when he came on. Good game for Hugo as well, which must have boosted his confidence.

Here are (patchy) video highlights -

And (much better) the penalties - who needs Berba!

Great team spirit through all the diary stuff from the tour - including during the matches (where it's harder to stage manage). Mesca looks not only fast but a good crosser - right footed so can probs play either wing. Hugo looking confident. Kasami doing nicely. Would like to have seen more of Kaca - but I guess with internationals he has probably kept his fitness levels up, so needs less game time.

Look forward to seeing some of the european friendlies now.
