Wow how do we start this. Trying to focus back on football. Something which seems so irrelevant. But for Vichai we have to carry on as a team and family the way he made us.

Daniel Amartey probably wont play again this season due to breaking his leg and injuring his ankle. Wes Morgan returns from suspension. So here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel C

    Ricardo
    Morgan
    Maguire
    Chilwell

    Albrighton
    Iborra
    Ndidi
    Gray

    Maddison

    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Mendy, Ghezzal, Okazaki, Iheanacho

Schmeichel has proven this week on and off the pitch he is the leader of the team. Incredible character shown by him. Absolute hero and touching tribute paid to Vichai

Morgan I will bring back purely because his experiences. Its going to be a very hard and emotional game

Ive been very vocal in recent weeks/months about Puel needed to go. I think now is the time to pull together as a club and family. We need everyone to pull in 1 direction just like we have this week in grief. Get behind Puel, players and each other as its going to be a tough ride but 1 we owe Vichai to come through strong

Regardless of the circumstances, Morgan does not deserve to walk straight back into this team. Kasper can lead the team out and deserves to after his class shown this week.

    Schmeichel (c)

    Ricardo Soyuncu Maguire Chilwell
    Ndidi Iborra
    Gray Maddison Albrighton
    Vardy

There’s too much there for City.

Murphy & Camassara may cause a few problems but our defence struggles with pace and our midfield lacks quality with a full back playing centre forward speaking volumes for the poor summer acquisitions.

    Leicester should fill their boots

I hope there is a respectful build up to the game and that emotions don't run too high with players from either side, but especially the foxes. A long trip to Thailand after the game for them.
I still hope we can nab 3 points though.

Five changes from the West Ham game, which is understandable as we weren’t very creative when it was 11v11, but Morgan walls straight back in. I don’t know what Soyuncu and Evans must make of it.

Morgan has to be back in imo. We need experienced players and players that know our team mates who can lift them

I agree he has experience and a presence in the field, but this season he’s starting to become a bit of a liability. He’s definitely still got something left to give us but walking straight back in I don’t think is right.

Probably as a mark of respect to Wes with what's happened this week , it would have been awful had he not been included

Great win under the circumstances! Really proud of them fighting back that like. Ref has a shocker. Not sure where I stand on the booking for Gray. Technically it is the rules but so is kicking the ball away and those offences are never penalised. Strikes me he was being a jobs worth, discretion would have said to let that one go...

No the decision to bring him back is the player look upto him and we needed his character and experience out there. Today wasnt about past performances. It was about emotions and keeping your head as much as you can

Morgan has been through this before when ex Forest owner Nigel Doughty died

Yes I saw that example. He certainly wouldn’t have had to explain himself by not doing it. Was he perhaps trying to hard to show no preference and in the process gone the other way? Poor decision for the pen although looked offside and silly things like corner not given although that was the assistant

Paul Gallagher came off the bench. First touch was to score a free kick

2 mins later the PNE keeper got sent off with all subs used so Gallagher ended the game in goal and made some saves and didnt concede

He has dedicated his goal to Vichai

Gally was down at the KP to pay his respects the other day

    Class from Gally

That was a tough watch in so many ways. What a performance and strength of character shown by the entire staff. Cardiff must have been gutted to be the team facing us this week as will Burnley be next week. The game itself never rose to any great heights unsurprisingly but to grind out an away win at any time in this league is tough so it was a massive achievement. Fans were unbelievable.

Alot of credit has to go to everyone at the club from Top all the way to us the fans and beyond that to the football family

Its been the hardest week as a Leicester fan by far and one of the hardest in our personal lives. Vichai dying has struck us like family member passing away. The outpouring of grief and emotion caused by someone none of us knew personally and someone ive never met is credit to the class and character and the way Vichai conducted himself

The players have put in an extremely composed, classy and dignified performance for Vichai today. Claude Puel has done a superb job of channeling the emotions to a positive one as much as he can. His demeanour is often criticised but might be just what the players need right now

Every player performed superbly and a credit to our club and themselves. This week as a club we will be saying our final goodbyes to a man none of us will ever forget

“Champions of England, he made us sing that”
