Daniel Amartey is out injured as is Matty James. Harry Maguire and James Maddison are both out aswell. So here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Morgan
    Evans
    Chilwell

    Albrighton
    Mendy
    Ndidi
    Gray

    Iheanacho
    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Iborra, Diabate, Ghezzal, Okazaki

Completely agree. Would have Simpson on the bench though so we have the option of pushing Pereira up. Maybe instead of Soyuncu as in an emergency Fuchs/Iborra can cover CB

Club have said there will be a 2 minutes silence for the game and asked supporters to arrive for 2.30. We will recieve free scarves, badges and a programme as part of the rememberance

The club have said they will make a major announcement about honouring and remembering Vichai. All tributes left will be moved over the coming days to the crash site

The players will wear 2 different shirts during the game. First half the shirt will have a tribute to Vichai and 2nd half will have a poppy on it

There will be no goal music for the game and imo fire should be dropped. I would just keep the goal horn from after saturday

I’d still keep a natural CB cover in Söyüncü. Maybe take Diabate or Ghezzal off the bench. It seems defensive overkill but if needed Ricardo or Chilwell could push forward and be replaced at the back by Simpson or Fuchs and do a better job as a winger than either of the two on the bench

James Maddison is injured aswel so I would go 442 with Iheanacho starting

Might as well experiment 3-5-2 with that but can’t see it happening now

I would be tempted to play Iborra instead of Albrighton - he gives us more composure and control in the midfield and also provides an aerial threat from set-pieces <ok>

    Gray, Chilwell or Pereira. ..
all have good delivery and likely wouldn't give the ball away as often as Albrighton does ...

Albrighton was one of our best players against West Ham and Imo we need 2 naturally wingers playing as we lack creativity without Maddison

If we had a bigger target man I might agree ... but we actually need to keep more of the ball ... and Albrighton is not in the same league as Iborra in doing that ... just my opinion of course <cheers>

Maddison will be a much bigger miss than Maguire for this. Morgan and Evans are probably suited to Burnley with their style. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Simpson at right back with Ricardo further forward

This is ridiculous, I've just predicted him to score in predict the score so he has to play. Worth a very healthy 6 points, I'm hoping he gets a couple :emoticon-0126-nerd:

Agree about Iborra, if theres a match that you will need to win headers, its against Burnley, though not sure it should be Albrighton making way, maybe Mendy.

Iborra and Albrighton work quite well together with Iborra liking to ping balls out to wings.

FYI Simpson can't play any Permier League games as he isn't part of our matchday squad.

Here is the team for today - looks like we will be going for speed upfront with Gray and Vardy.

    Leicester
    • Schmeichel
    • Ricardo Pereira
    • Morgan
    • Evans
    • Chilwell
    • Mendy
    • Ndidi
    • Ghezzal
    • Gray
    • Albrighton
    • Vardy
    Substitutes
    • Simpson
    • Söyüncü
    • Iheanacho
    • Ward
    • Okazaki
    • Iborra
    • Fuchs

He came on last week at Cardiff and he wouldn’t be on the bench if he wasn’t

Im not going to have a go at anyone for today

But the more the weeks go by and you see how poor our attacking options are on the bench the more I warm to the idea of recalling Harvey Barnes
