Jamie Vardy is still a doubt but he is training. He should be back for Reading next Monday. Apart from that there are no injuries or suspensions. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet Wasilewski Morgan Schlupp Knockaert Drinkwater James Mahrez Wood Nugent Subs- Logan, Moore, King, Hammond, Dyer, Taylor-Fletcher, Phillips
I would like us to give the likes of Hammond, King, Dyer, Konchesky etc. a go, but agreed, not until everything's tied up. Still got the league to win, and it'd be great to get a win tomorrow to exacerbate the party mood, although in reality it might be a bit tricky- these sorts of fixtures are always a little strange.
I agree that team, but in terms of preparing for the premiership and development it would be good to see Liam Moore playing again soon...
Four changes to the team tonight; Schmeichel,Moore,Morgan,Wasilewski,Konchesky,Knockaert,Drinkwater,King,Mahrez,Phillips,Nugent
Alot gone wrong in this game, promotion hangover ? I fell sorry for the fans in the ground. I hope it´s out the system now & we can finish the job as champions. Disappointed to be fair.
well starting a game with phillips is like starting with 10 men and king was absolutely abysmal. Moore uncomfortable at RB too. Oh well, enjoyable game still!!
"We are terrible" "Sack Pearson now" "Going to be embarrassed in the prem" etc. Probably the same people that walked out at 4-0 By the end of it, people were coming on or texting and calling them numpties though. Speaking of those that walked out at 4-0, what a reaction it got! i was stood up for the last 10 minutes because of it! Great backing!
Seriously, FFS!! We've just been on a 21 game unbeaten run, miles clear of 3rd & promotion confirmed. A defeat was going to come and the game after promotion was confirmed was always the most likely one, especially coming so quickly, imo. It's obviously disappointing to lose & from the reports/comments we didn't play at all well. Frustrating but no reason to get over excited! Brighton were probably delighted by our promotion on Sat & expected us to be 'hungover'. We can still be Champions and it'll be very disappointing if we've not after being top for so long. But even if we aren't it won't matter come August because we will be PREMIER LEAGUE. That was the target and we've achieved it.
Yeah, its hard for the dedicated moaning supporters to complain and its took them 22 games to get a proper moan in. Thing is that Brighton played excellently, reminded me of what we had been like all season, if they played like that every week, they'd be up here with us, they are the only club to do the double on us this season, so credit to them.
The 2 blokes behind me in row HH in SK4 got up and walked out after their 3rd goal. I couldn't believe it. The 1st defeat in 22 games, that's 22 games!, and they walk out with 30 minutes left. Okay we were 3-0 down, but if that is their idea of support then please stay away. At this rate they could miss half the season in the Prem!
I was reading on Alan Young's facebook feed that someone rang him up and "got personal" with him. Anyone know what was said?
I can't remember the words that was said, as I hadn't heard of the phrase he used, but Youngy said it was liable then they cut him off!!!
