Jamie Vardy’s suspension is now over and Caglar Soyuncu should be fit enough to now be involved. No other injuries or suspensions so here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Morgan
    Maguire
    Chilwell

    Ndidi
    Mendy

    Ghezzal
    Maddison
    Albrighton

    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Evans, Amartey, Fuchs, Silva, Gray, Iheanacho

I do feel for the lad, he seems to take one step forward and five back when it comes to injuries. He's been fit for about half a season in the last 4 seasons, I can see him having to call it a day at this rate.

Real shame. Maybe I’m alone but I really really rate him - positionally so so intelligent

I’d be tempted to throw Soyuncu in to a 5-3-1-1 but maybe not until the current system has broken...

    Schmeichel

    Pereira Evans Maguire Fuchs

    N’didi Mendy

    Gray Maddison Albrighton

    Vardy

My team is listed above, but I think it will be:

    Schmeichel
    Amartey Morgan Maguire Chilwell
    Mendy N’didi
    Ghezzal Maddison Gray
    Vardy

But it’s Puel so something odd will happen. Vardy RB and Amartey up top?

Probably Ricardo over Ghezzal but I’d not have Amartey personally

Happy enough but literally what was the point in signing Evans on about £100k a week I think it was, Benkovic for about £15m and Soyuncu for £24ish mill if Morgan - who is decent, club captain and a leader - is undroppable

Morgan kinda makes sense - Soyuncu can play RCB but is coming back from an injury and needs time to acclimatise.

Tried Evans and he wasn't that good there - looks like he was brought in as a backup for Maguire.

Benkovic is one for the future - is why he was sent on loan to Celtic get minutes although he is playing on the left side as well...

The one thing I don't get is we have Amartey who plays RCB for Ghana - in fact he was captain in their last game but for some reason we a loath to play him there.

Think the only positive is that Puel can't play Big Wes against the Udders ...

If this is as good as it gets, then I refer back to my point from last week: what’s the point in waking up and remembering to breath on a Saturday?
