Jamie Vardy is a doubt after missing the QPR game with a groin strain. Matty James should be fine to start after coming on against QPR. Jeff Schlupp came off injured at the weekend so he might also be unavailable. Apart from them there are no other injuries so here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Wasilewski Konchesky King Drinkwater James Mahrez Knockaert Nugent Subs- Logan, Moore, Hammond, Dyer, Taylor-Fletcher, Wood, Phillips
Think you may be right Proud, providing NP goes with strongest available. Can't see the formation being a 1 off - needs more game time - we may use it a lot next season.
Interesting. So you don't think he's just playing this system until Vardy is back? Whether it's the strongest team depends on you'd rather have King in the starting line-up or Wood. They're probably equally threatening, but King is more of an all-rounder. That said, I'm never sure about one up front, even in a formation that can become a three.
From a post match interview I got the distinct impression Nigel was testing this formation with the PL in mind, so we might see it again before the season is out.
As long as Hammond and Dyer don’t start, they were both woeful yet again in the QPR game. I hope James will replace Hammond and Dyer stays on the bench.
I hope Vardy and Schlupp are fit ... if not I'd prefer 2 up front to the one up we played against the dramas ...
@OfficialFOXES: NP reveals injury to @Jeffrey_Schlupp not as bad as first thought. Neither he nor @vardy7 will be considered for @OfficialBWFC. #bwfcvlcfc
He's not bad cover to be fair ... but I'm still holding out a slender hope that Liam Moore gets the nod
We could go 352 Moore Wasyl Wes Drinky James King Mahrez Knockaert Nugent Wood Only down side of that is you will get slaughtered by a decent winger unless Wasyl "deals with him"
