Wes Morgan is suspended for this game. But he will be back for our next game. Danny Drinkwater and Andy King are feeling under the weather like most of us. Apart from that there is no worries to any players. Ben Marshall wasn't included at all against Millwall, whether that's down to form or injury we don't know. So here is what I would play

    Schmeichel

    De Laet
    Keane
    Whitbread
    Konchesky

    King
    Drinkwater
    James

    Knockaert
    Schlupp
    Wood

Subs- Logan, Moore, Wellens, Marshall, Dyer, Waghorn, Nugent

@OfficialFOXES: Lots of questions on the Morgan red. It's a one-match ban for the City skipper, so he'll miss Barnsley on Monday and return at Brighton.

Why are there questions about this? I'd cancel St. Ledger's loan and play him, yeah I know I've been complaining about this loan for a while now, but I'm being bitter and not really wanting to help Millwall at this moment in time.

I would stick with the team that battled against Millwall obviously bringing Whitbread in for Morgan. I like Moore but lets keep some experiance in at centre back. This is a all or nothing game for me come back with three points or forget about playoffs even.

Wellens in for King as every game is going to be a battle now until the end of the season and I'd rather see Moore than Whitbread as he's looked an accident waiting to happen whenever he plays.

I agree i would rather Moore to Whitbread but both Keane and Moore are 20 years old. We need some experience

We've got nothing to lose by playing Moore, we're already out of the play offs and Whitbread is older but he's ****e

Play offs are still on. We might have fell out the play off places but the next 2 games are massive and could give us our lead back over 7th. Wes being suspended could be a good thing as its allowed him a rest something he hasnt had all season other then that Burton game

If the club was going to sack him he'd have gone after the Derby game IMO, if we don't make the play offs then he'll be gone at the end of the season - as to who'd be his replacement?

    No idea.

I'd consider starting Moore just on the pretext that he's actually played a game in the last 3 months, but on the whole I'd go with Whitbread. I don't quite see what everyone's problem with Whitbread is, our defence has generally been pretty solid when he's played. In terms of individual performances, Keane has done better than Whitbread but the defensive unit looks better with Whitbread. I don't think he's a long term solution though, and I'm not sure I'd like to see a Keane - Whitbread partnership too often. It looks a lot darker for Leicester when Morgan doesn't play. I'd like to see Moore toyed with a bit more though as I see him as a future star of our defence, and I think his partnership with Morgan should be developed better. But we obviously won't be able to do that at Barnsley.
