Hmmm. Interesting line up. Think we could sneak a cheeky win tonight.. I have thought that for every game this season mind...
Still can´t believe Hamer is 2nd to Schwarzer. Still not sure about the DEF but I´ll never be this season. Maybe with that DEF next season in the championship will be kick arse & look really good...
I'am worried, Arsenal are just playing with us, have to agree still don't know why Schwarzer has replaced Hamer! not improved the defence one bit, could be one hell of a beating tonight.
He was sacked properly he´s now been our manager 3 times. As this is his 1st game back in charge, I´d like to ask the Leicester fans to be patient & give NP time to settle in.
Sums our season up We played very well Cambiasso bossed the midfield and Mahrez ran riot amongst their backline We just lack that bit of quality in the key moments and concede poor goals Championship beckons im afraid
I think we now fall under the 'great escape' category. We can do it though - upson, huth and was would be a good back 3 - maybe de laet instead of simpson for extra pace as it needs less 'defensively' with 3 cbs and unleash mahrez and play kramaric What iritates me is Ulloa coming and and either winning the knock-down and always falling over or just giving away fouls I believe.
At the start of the season this would have been one of the games we perhaps expected to lose ... so in that sense it was a very good performance and perhaps a little unlucky not to have snatched a draw. Many positives but we need a lot more than 'taking positives' right now ... It's not over by any means and two back to back wins would put a whole different light on things ... I want us to really go for it at Villa in the Cup ... a win there just might be the impetus for us plus it would really set Villa back ... which we need ...
I don't know if I'm hallucinating but im sure I don't see space for the total-class-premier-league-star Wes Morgan in that back three?
Outstanding performance today let down by some desperate finishing (James, Krammy, Mahrez) and slopping defending (Morgan and... Morgan). I was delighted to see us play with five at the back, something I called for back in Sept/Oct, slightly surprised that De Laet wasn't part of it though. Cambiasso put in his best performance today, which does make me worry he raises his game against the big clubs (should have done it on Sat!). Krammy's goal will do him a world of good. Mahrez was amazing in the first half. Play like that at Everton and we might well get something.
Cambiasso needs options to be able to perform at his best - it's as simple as that ... in the games where he has had them he has been outstanding ... Wes has been woeful most of this season and if we are to survive Nigel may need to make that difficult decision ... if you look at it rationally, Upson, Huth and Wasilewski are all full internationsls and have played top flight football ... Wes has never played outside the Championship beyond this season ... logic dictates that you play the other 3 or two of them perhaps with Liam Moore for added mobility ... As much as Jeff Schlupp is excellent playing left mid I still think Konch is a liability - why not use Jeff as the left wing back in that 5? - he should still be able to bomb forward
Robert Huth showed the difference in a Prem class defender to a top championship defender in Wes Morgan I didnt understand how Wasilewski got dropped and Morgan didnt last night
We didn't do too badly with 5-4-1 ... so we'll prob be back to 4-4-2 next weekend Probably wouldn't send out the right message to drop the club captain, ive no doubt hes highly regarded amongst the players and those around him know his game. Hes in the same space as Curtis omg-why-was-he-not-selected-for-England-at-the-world-cup Davies
