You know what, as well as the youngsters, I hope Lens puts a shift in, gets praised, and realises its worth working to get back in the team under SA.

    Yeh I agree
He started well played some good games and is a good player
Maybe it's his attitude that needs correcting

Speaking on Goals on Sunday, he claimed that he will be prioritising a striker, a goal-scoring midfielder, a wide player and a full-back being added to his squad.

I reckon it is mate. I'd love to see what he could do though if he got over himself though. That goal against West Ham was top notch

Que sera, sera. Those who want it enough will deliver. Those who don't want it enough, sell 'em.

Rodwell might get his first win today !. Just thinking about Yedlin, could he have went back to Spurs to play against Newcastle today if the match was important ?

I can see the reasoning behind all the selections except N'Doye. He should be on the first plane back to Turkey regardless of what he does in this game imo. Harsh on Defoe, his last chance to prove himself before the Euro squad is announced, reckon he'd have given everything to this one...

I also would have given Big Bad Wesley Brown one last hurrah over O'Shea personally.

No, why on earth would they be able to? They also have two better right backs. You're mental.

Hairy, if you notice his hair, sell him. To this day, I can't describe Stanley Matthews' hair - but, by christ, do I remember the feet! <laugh>

Good point, assuming Sam wasn't auditioning N'Doye for a transfer which I doubt as he's been poor, why the **** would you play him. Either Defoe or an under 21 would have made a lot more sense.

I`m wondering whether the eye was on Lens.

Yes I know it`s probably me thinking way out on the boundary but that lad could make a difference.

I`m probably off on a tangent somewhere (as per usual) but............I haven`t a clue where I`m going with this.

Well he's got the ability no doubt, so if Sam can give him a kick up the arse and an arm round the shoulder at the same time (if that's physically possible) then we could have a strong player on our hands. If he won't fulfil the work rate and defensive duties then he won't fit in.
