Arsenal next. Usual drill. What team would you like to see? Arsenal have been up and down this season. A lot of their players are struggling. But they have two lethal weapens in their team and if we dont keep tight on them we will get punished. Obviously I mean Walcott and Wilshere. Podolski and Cazorla must be kept quiet to. Reina, Johnson and Enrique are fit. Midfield is shaped to counter Wilshere and allow us to get numbers forward. In reality Henderson will mainly be further forward than Gerrard. Walcott could play in a variety of positions so all the defenders must be aware of this. I deliberately put Sturridge narrow as he will be getting in ahead of Suarez. I deliberately put him on the left as we can guarantee Johnson will attack and add width. But if Walcott ends up playing right wing Johnson may have to retreat, or Agger and Lucas must be ready to cover. Downing can swap wings to add numbers on the left. Carragher's voice and leadership at the back will help our attempts to keep a clean sheet. Sturridge and Suarez can get at the Arsenal defence just by being themselves and enjoying themselves.
I'm actually tempted to suggest a Sven diamond with Shelvey as a AM/F9 hybrid and Suarez and Sturridge up front.

And his attacking qualities If we have Johnson & Enrique available from the start of this game then I'd be really confident. We've had a massive problem with Johnson & Wisdom being our full backs as one isn't good enough offensively (and he isn't that good defensively either at the moment IMO) and the other can't really go around the outside and stretch the play because his natural instinct is to cut inside seeing as he is right footed playing on the left. Johnson and Enrique would stretch Arsenal both sides and give the likes of Sturridge, Suarez and Gerrard loads more room than they are usually afforded in the middle. ---------------Reina----------------- Johnson--Skrtel---Agger---Enrique ------Gerrard----Lucas---Henderson --Downing-----Suarez--------------- ----------------Sturridge-------------- Something like that.
Yeah, I'd probably go with that too.
