    The team for today
Woolfy, Harness & Ladapo in squad. No Hirst or Broadie as we thought.

L'pool must be licking their lips!

What's wrong with Hirst? Missed whatever that was...

We are going to get absolutely battered in those first two games. Thankfully it's a marathon and not a sprint and I expect us to keep our heads and get stronger as the season goes on.

Encouraging 1st half, Taylor scored and Harness playing well! Delap a strong bully boy presence.

Thought first half we looked good, second half with all the changes fell off a bit. With Hirst injured and Al Hamadi still not training we need another striker in, can't be relying on Ladapo to come in.

Still not sure about Muric (although I'm sure McKenna is and will be our no.1) thought he played a few too many high risk balls into the middle which players struggled with and gave the ball away in vulnerable areas.

I thought the backline looked very assured in the first half and wouldn't be surprised if that was our first choice line up. I thought second half Burgess looked all over the place which is very unlike him and Tuanzebe looked great which I haven't seen before.

I've been impressed with Harness in pre season so far particularly in wide positions, for me his biggest weakness is with his back to goal which can be a problem when he plays centrally as he gives the ball away alot but out wide he looks a different prospect.
