I know it hasnt won us any trophies but i cant help but notice how united the team seems to be recently. Its such a stark contrast from the days of adebayor and gallas. In addition most of these players really seem to.have taken the club to heart. It may very well have been one of the defining factors enabling us to creep over the finish line and its great to see.
I love watching the videos from Arsenal.com with the boys clowning around, the chemistry between them is clear to see. There's a kool clip where RVP's playing darts and one where Scezney kicks the ball on Wenger's Arsenal car and runs off, Wenger's reaction is priceless.
The do seem to be friends off the pitch, and I did like the celebrations after the win at Stamford Bridge. I am yet to see this new found togetherness actually translate to 100% effort on the pitch though.
I'm just waiting for some zero to pipe in with "maybe if they stopped clowning around so much they'd concentrate on the pitch and win something". Oh wait ....
It helps having Arteta and Roiscky playing in midfield both are tenacious and hardworking. I still think we need more leadership at the back though.
