AW does LJ now play 4-4-2 [ or a 3-5-2 with flexibility ] and start AW and FD ? it is going to be tough … picking that is, a team …. midfield ………. 2 of niclas,watkins, hakeeb playing wide, leaves pack and ??? choice of half a dozen and defence of ...... KALAS … WEBSTER ...HUNT plus choice of ………. half a dozen!!!! could "spoilt for choice" be are undoing?
Nope, team selection easy - pick the players that are performing best for the team at the time and avoid trying to 'accommodate' players. Then its down to the other players to work their butt off to DESERVE a place in the starting line-up
I trust LJ to get the team selection correct for sunday, he and his coaching staff see them in training...we dont!
Given the way the team has played in the last two games I would think LJ will name an unchanged team, injuries permitting, and Fammy will be recacalled to the bench.
An interesting choice for LJ. Many on here felt it was a key factor in our form dip last season when Fammy was brought back into the side, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I'd love to know if it plays on LJ's mind though?
