This would be mine: -------------------Szczesny/Almunia *------------------ Sagna-------Koscielny----Djourou/Squillaci*----Clichy --------------Song/Diaby*----Fabregas----------------- Walcott--------------------------------------------Arshavin ------------------Van Persie-------------------------------- ----------------------------- Chamakh--------------------- All marked with * depend on fitness of first (preferred) player. I hate to drop young Jack, but Fabregas is undroppable, unless he suddenly turns into Denilson, and we need the height of Song or Diaby to combat the beast. The 4-2-3-1 hasn't been at its most effective recently, and we've looked better when returning to a 4-4-2 when we inevitably chase wins. I also want to include Chamakh, or maybe even Bendtner, to help combat the beast from set pieces, and give us another option up front. Bendtner possibly because Chamakh and van Persie don't quite seem to work, but van Persie is undroppable like Cesc, and Chamakh is better than the great Dane. I also would rest Nasri, he's been poor and not looked 100% since being rushed back to play Barca, and Andrei loves playing against Liverpool.
I would think long and hard about leaving Lehman out & I would definitely find room for Nasri. Perhaps bring Andrei on in the 2nd half when we are 3 goals up? Agree with Chamakh ahead of Bendtner.
