Obviously the 2 strikers are there because they were the 2 top scorers in the league. However most of Akinde's were penalties aganst 10 men. Fair shout to Parkin though. His mobility and age hasnt stopped him scoring for fun, although would like to point out that he was shocking in both play off games against us while our own Matty Taylor who got over 20 goals over the season - not far behind Parkin, managed to get a goal in both play off legs, scoring when it mattered in the big games!

Also the picture with all the winners on shows fair play winners AFC Flyde but its actually spelt AFC Fylde. You would think the league would spell the name right for the awards! Also manager of the year award shows Barrows manager name is as Edmundson but its actually spelt Edmondson. Dont they check these things??
Yes, can't believe I didn't notice that. Basically the central midfielders are apparently wingers and vice versa.
Yes I cant imagine Disley and Mansell being wingers in the same team Thats like putting an injured unfit Adam Virgo up front and playing Parkes (or was it Kenneth) on the wing! Wasnt that Mark McGhee who did both? Crazy!
Akinde should not be player of the year! Dirty ****ing cheat! Interesting to see our programme was beaten...we have had the best in the leagues for pretty much the last decade or more
