What's the Taffy's problem with it? It's not as if it would ever lead to being a unified national side is it?

God knows. I fail to see how it could affect their status as an independent sporting nation though

Living north of the border my feeling is it is very little to do with them being worried about losing their independence as a football nation, even though they say it is. It is down to the fact that there are likely to be more English players in the team than Scottish, and they hate the thought of it.

Should think they will need to pick at least two teams maybe. A reserve side and the 1st team. So that will give the Scots and Taffy's a chance. Also will need practice matches, and I expect more cash etc for teams in Londistan to play them...likes of Arsenal, Wet Spam etc.

Final practice match at Wembley GB 1st (ie England) 6 v GB Reserves (ie Scots/Taffy's/NI) 0

Headlines. Wembley goal posts destroyed by reserve team supporters in Wembley R i o t.

Think you'll find that a majority of taffia are actually for Wales in teamgb, but muppets in the FAW are worried about their positions of incompetence in the new scheme of things. Think you'll find that players like Bale, Allen , Taylor and Williams will defy the FAW and make themselves available, and I'm for it !

Most people I know couldn't give a **** about the Olympics, so an U23s football team as part of it is of even less interest.

What will be of interest though is whether the FAs that are opposed to it and telling players not to play as they don't think it's in their interests will then be complaining when clubs start telling their players not to play international games because they're "injured".
