Squad to pick from: Harper, Krul, Simmo, perch, ferguson, Enrique, Coloccini, Williamson, Barton, Nolan, Guitierrez, Guthrie, Vuckic, Donaldson, Ameobi, Lovenkrands, Best, Ranger.

Dont think Pardew has got any choice in who he plays bar the front two, so would think team tonight would be:
    4-4-2
    Harper
    Simpson
    Coloccini
    Williamson
    Enrique
    Guitierrez
    Nolan
    Guthrie
    Barton
    Ameobi
    Best

Fulham in good form at home at the moment so i think tonight will be a struggle and we should be happy with a draw, anything else would be a bonus. HWTL

I'd love it if Pardew went for Ranger tonight. Just said to him this is his chance. The next few games could make him Andy Carrolls replacement.

Ranger would come out fighting and with a point to prove.

    JONAS

Id love to see ranger play also, this is the perfect chance for him to prove himself, i dont quite think pardew has the same faith in him as we do tho.

Given Fulham's height in defence, I'd start with Ameobi and Ranger, bringing Best on after an hour if it's not working. Rest of the team you suggested seems right to me.

    got to start with Ameobi.

Ranger causes problems as an impact player (but misses open goals)
Lovenkrands is bizarrely no good away from home
Best I'm still not convinced about, anyone could have scored against that West Ham team...

No, I think you'll find he only scored twice away from home - Boro and QPR

Would like to see Ranger and Shola start tonight but think AP will go with Best and Shola.

Guthrie was really good in the last couple of games I thought...covering for Smith/Tiote rather than trying to go forward seems to be more suited to him.
He's no great tackler but his passing was much more accurate than it used to be, getting the ball out of our half quickly

Ameobi is our best striker, now that Carroll is gone. Great hold-up play too.

He has that weird run that makes him look lazy, but I think his workrate is actually excellent.

Just wish someone would teach him the offside rule.

If he hasn't learnt it by now then there is no chance he'll ever understand it...

I think the only choice pardew has is best/ranger

    I would go with:
    Harper
    Simpson
    Colo
    Williamson
    Jose
    Jonas
    Barton
    Guthrie
    Nolan
    Ameobi
    Best

There is not a single player available that would get in ahead of this 11 with the exception of ranger, but i would prefer to use him as an impact player later in game if need be.

Those of you calling for Adam Campbell and the like to be given a chance, get back to Football Manager.
