Kenny, Diakite, Hill, Taarabt, Mackie, Barton, Wright-Phillips, Taiwo, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Zamora. Thoughts?
Does Joey have a contract that says he has to play if he not injured or red-carded? What does MH see in him? Surprised to see Traore on bench. Zamora lone striker? With Mackie alongside, sort of? Sick of MH's useless 4-4-2. Is that all he's got? Yeah and where is Hill playing? We've seen him at LB, but is he playing RB?
I fear that the new guy may get sent off. New man first game London derby. Nailed on for at least a yellow.
I'd leave SWP in the reserves and play Traore instead but otherwise the same team I'd have picked. Guessing it will be ------------Kenny----------------- --Hill--Onuoha--Ferdinand--Taiwo-- -----------Diakite----------------- ------SWP ------Barton----------- ----------Taarabt----------------- ----Mackie -------Zamora---------
I was thinking the same as above, just swapping Onuoha for Hill, and that would be logical. And Taarbs on the left with diakite and barton as centre mids. I do fear though that he'll play mackie out wide and taarbs behind Zamora, please god say he's learned Mackie is a forward
Our new boy Diakite has a yellow after a couple of warnings - could easily pick up a red for another rash challenge. I am watching this game online, with a time delay with poor video quality and listening on BBC London - we look and sound awful - the team is not working together as a unit - lots of work ahead for Mark Hughes.
This is crap, anyone could tell listening to the commentary that diakite was going to get a red, Hughes should have brought him off. Cisse Barton & now diakite are going to cost us premiership survival
true. stick in there guys. From the sound of final score you could have been 3 or so down by now. as it is you're still well in it.
It's the hope that's killing me, always the ****ing hope. Two weeks in Portugal and you're forgiven for thinking they would come back a better fighting unit. Just clueless. We're running out of the games that we have a realistic chance of winning (and need to win if we're to remain in this division).
i feel for you guys at the moment. I enjoy a bit of lighthearted joking about other teams, but its not much fun when fans like you guys are being subjected to the run you're on. The debut=red card trend is worrying, and Hughes seems to have no authority over his players. Warnock can suggest he wasn't the problem based on recent events. I worry that the money men at LR are more interested in shirt sales and growing the brand than the team itself. wolves look to be pretty dire though, and blackburn will struggle. However i think both wigan and bolton will pull out some big results before the end of season. They know how to handle it. Hope things get better 2nd half, and you stay up. The sooner your situation is better, the sooner we can get back to mutually assured piss taking!
Yes, indeed, should have been a no brainer for him, the writing was on the wall. Under the circumstances a draw today would seem like a victory.
