I mean it as 442 or perhaps 4411. I think it suits the players I selected best rather than trying to force them into a 433 or 4231. We played the same shape earlier in the season with Osvaldo and Lambert starting together.

That won't happen. We play a way or a variation of that way. MP won't just suddenly change it. Even when we had Lambo and Dani playing there was a rotation of two drifting wide.

Oh yes. It was due to be U13's but that game was called off - didn't want to mess up any pitches. So I got U11's on an artificial pitch. The big disappointment is that Pochettino's son plays for the U13's and Pochettino would have been there. :(

Tom, was it Cardiff?

Doesn't matter. We're choosing the team we'd play in this thread not the one Pochettino would play. He won't rest as many players as I would so he won't have the issue of having to change shape. You could still get away with playing 4-2-3-1 with the players I picked. I wanted it to be a more attacking 4-4-2, where the central midfielders aren't sitting back and an actual two upfront, considering we're playing Yeovil.

ok, sorry. Thought you were going for the team we'd play.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't change formations though, unless we are treating it as an experiment against 'weaker' opposition.
