Although I still feel a rather dissolusioned, I have started pondering what team could take the field on
Saturday. It is a great pity that Ale played midweek and is now injured as he would have one on the first names on my team sheet.

I think that Harry will continue with 3-5-2 and would not be suprised if there no major changes from the Spurs team. I hope Onuoha will play and would like to see Yun, but have no idea where he is, and I plumb for this:

    --------------------- Green---------------------
    --------Caulker--Ferdinand----Onuoha-------
    ---Isla--------------------------------Yun--------
    -------Mutch -----Barton ------Fer-------------
    ------------Remy --------Austin

Based on what I have seen (or read), I would play a different set up and would be very tempted to revert to a some variant of this 4-2-3-1 formation:

    ----------------------------Green-------------------
    Isla(or Simpson)--Caulker---Ferdinand---Yun
    -----------------Barton -------- Much --------------
    -------Hoillet ----------Taarabt----------Remy----
    ---------------------------Austin------------------

Any thoughts or comments on this speculation?

I like the look of that second side more in terms of balance although I'd probably opt for Henry instead of Mutch and then use the latter to replace Adel whenever his legs go.

In reality, I think your first line up would be about right but I think Hill will be in place of Onuoha and Traore in place of Yun (perhaps for his swansong).

I heard Yun is out until after the International break. Traore rumoured as going to Palace and Simpson to Leicester, so not very sure who can play LWB in the 3 5 2 system these transfers surely mean we will be playing - but being sure of what Arry is thinking about is pretty daft in it. Pehaps he can throw Hoillet in there?! He says Adel will play a part, but doubt he'll start him, but I would. Also rumours Ned and Phillips could be going.. Arry will probably go with Dunne again!

    So maybe I'd go with:

    --------------------- Green---------------------
    --------Ned---------Caulker-------Clint (or Rio)-------
    ---Isla--------------------------------Hoillet--------
    -------Barton ------Henry ------Adel-------------
    ------------Remy --------Austin

I sense quite a lot of apathy today on the forum.

I hope the team. whatever it will be, will be will give us a lift tomorrow.

    Green
    Isla Onouha Ferdinand Caulker Yun
    Barton Fer Hoilett
    Austin Remy

Don't like Mutch, much. Likewise Traore.

I've not caught up with today's events yet, apart from the sad news about poor Ale. Has anyone actually gone or arrived or is it all talk?

If nothing has actually changed, and Austin is fit, I can only see him for Phillips as the only change to last Sunday.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Adel Taarabt would feature; I hope so. In fact, I'd start with him; then give him the hook if he's got a monk on!

Ozzie, Taarabt CAN'T start. He's not fit. Just look at the poster Grifter put up the other night. He's got a bigger Ned Kelly than I have.

If Tarbs is to be used it'll be to sling him on for the last 10 minutes or so if we're desperate for a goal. Can't see Redknapp even having him on the bench though.

Asolutely, Adel is the chosen one who will lead us to the promised land of 17th place. Always takes him a couple of months to recover from his late night Ramadan binges so he's ready to go by now.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Swords with regard to Adel cannot start, but I'm sure that was never actually an option. I'd love to see him come on though, with maybe 20 minutes to go, and what a lift for the home support (if we need one). Followed by Zamora 5 minutes later if the atmosphere starts to drop.

I do, however, remain highly doubtful that it will happen.

Just home from a two day trip to Pity Me via Whitby and York so catching up ...... first port of call as always the Bri match thread

I'm too knackered to get into formations, predictions & selections but have to ask the QPR lads something.

I went to the away match last time and couldn't get a ticket for the Sunderland section so went in with QPR.

I was witness to one of the most embarrassing sights I've ever witnessed in a football ground!

There was a QPR supporter, in a sombrero, with 'Grandad' printed on the back of his replica top.

His 'hilarious antics' were ****ing cringeworthy on a scale only Jimmy Saville could come close to matching.

    Who the **** is he?

If Remy goes and Charlie is injured long term . Bobby is our only striker at the club with 3 or 4 goals a season. Please can someone turn the lights out till next season.

Adel to start tomorrow for me. Here is a match winner and if he is good enough for Juventus hes good enough for QPR with a bit of man management.
