I didn't say I felt sorry for them - that, to me, would be condescending and indeed I do not feel sorrow for them. I consider myself to be generally decent, however and for me, there is every reason to empathise with decent fans who have been duped by a club rotten to the core. I can't name nor do I personally know any of these 'decent' fans but by the law of averages there has to be at least a few. There are or have been, for example, one or two posters on here who strike me (judging purely by their posts) as being reasonable/decent fans - of course I could be wrong but to my mind (lost marbles or not, as the case may be) 'Gambol' and 'Moses McNeil' might fit into this category ...

You have me there sh - I wouldn't have a clue what sort of people would be at a Bomber Brown party. Seriously though, the way I see it is that the decent fans are probably in shock over all that has happened to their old club and hanging on to the hope that somehow things will work out for Sevco despite being stuck with the highly dubious new owner. Indoctrination from birth in many facets of our individual upbringing is, I imagine, something we all struggle to deal with at times and while we Celtic fans, in general, may have a different overall outlook than that of Sevco fans in general, I just do not see how, by any stretch of the imagination, every single one of them can be tarred with the same brush.

Up to a point - and as with practically every other poster, there are some posts in which I am not interested or find tedious so would not respond to them - as, I'm sure, do other posters find mine as well! sh does present something different but I think it is taking the easy way out to ignore him completely. As I have said before, I find some of his posts very amusing. I think he adds to the diversity of the forum and I'm glad he is a member of it. I have no particular axe to grind with him and I would rather engage in discussion with someone than to deliberately insult or ignore them just because I disagreed with them or they annoyed me. That is not to say that I am not capable of annoying anyone ...

He's got online Tourettes like that Chapper fellow. Out of the blue comes an insult for no reason at all, but as for his comments on decent Rangers fans alone he deserves my total apathy, I just laugh anytime I see one of his daft rants.
There you go then - at least he provides you with a laugh and don't they say laughter is the best medicine? ("This theory creates the scenario of our pre-historic ancestors sharing laughter around the fire, possibly the emergence of the first clowns, clubbing each other for comic effect!")
But smiling is a form of submission, our ancient forebears used to do it like supplicant Wolves did. It's a strange thing that when we are at our most submissive or most aggressive our teeth show. Smiling is basically false anger.

I notice that even now folk will cover their mouths and faces when laughing at my hilarious jokes. As the Alpha male, Silverback Gorilla, they don't wish to bare their teeth at me for fear of having them knocked out.

Hmmm ... but laughter (not grimacing or falsely smiling) makes us feel good and gives positive release (the endorpin effect), whereas anger/aggression generates adrenalin followed by its harmful and debilitating effect?

....to be honest, it could be the vomiting thing.
But i swear, look at people doing it. They will cover their mouths whilst laughing. I have no proof but I am convinced it is something to do with that....

I was being sarcastic, so apologies. Anyone who knows me will tell you I probably laugh too much, verging on the manic or apparently "High" on something illicit. I love all forms of humour but especially silly stuff like Laurel and Hardy and Monty Python. Sarcasm is one of my favourites though.
Knew you were being lighthearted Dev - I'm a fan of that stuff as well and would add others from the W.C.Fields films through to 'Blackadder' etc to the list!
