Been wondering what Paulo will do and it obviously depends whether we are safe or not, if we are I can imagine him dropping a fair few players that haven't been good enough and a chance for the squad players and young lads who have been on the bench to have a go. If we are not safe however he will stick with experienced heads. So what would your two teams be? If we are NOT safe I think he will play Mignolet Bardsley/O'Shea/Cuellar/Colback AJ/Larsson/N'Diaye/Vaughan/McCLean Graham If we are safe I would like to see Westwood Marrs/O'Shea/Mangane/Colback Larsson/Vaughan/N'Diaye/AJ Wickham/Mandron
I have some spare bog roll you chaps can have? Although I'd confidently predict you are 100% safe. please log in to view this image
If Arsenal beat Wigan, it would be an absolute disgrace if we played a weakened team against Spurs, when them and Arsenal are going for 4th.
........................Mignolet........................ Bardsley.....Cuellar.....oshea.......Colback Johnson.....Larsson....NDayie......McClean .................Whickham..Graham................. Hoping we don't need a result.
We've had a few threads calling West Brom for fielding 'weakened' teams against Wigan and Norwich because it can impact upon our season. Yet we want to field a 'weakened' side against Spurs if we're safe when they are still going for 4th spot. Slightly hypocritical...
Your final position is over 38 games not 1, I dont care if WBA went on holiday early, we did last year. If Arsenal do not get 4th because we play a weekened side, tough. If we are safe then play some players that havnt had a chance 2-3 not the whole team, if not then play our strongest side (which after this season very well maybe a team with 2-3 squad/young players)
Playing one or two youngsters and squad players is hardly a disgrace mate, most mid-table teams rotate if there isn't much to play for. Can certainly see Arsene Wenger moaning if we did mind.
We want to finish above the mags !, we have everything to play for and nearly £5 m revenue they have nearly thrown away.
If the scenario is that the Gooners beat Wigan, then I think it is our utmost duty to field our strongest team at WHL. You never know, we get something there and Arsenal spank the Toon................................ TOPCATS! THE INDISPUTABLE TOPCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X
Looking at the teams again, the second one is actually arguably stronger.... no graham, mcclean, bardsley or cuellar.
Don't think it's gonna make much difference which team we put out, Spurs at their place wanting to make sure they secure a CL place, I know who i would put the money on if i was having a bet. I'd like to think that the lads would be giving their all as they're more than likely playing for their careers here now but judging by yesterdays performance other than Mig only Colback looked like he give a **** out of the outfield players.
If Arsenal win both of their games Spurs win would mean nothing for them and they'd be fifth! No idea what to expect really!
You've just made me have a vision of a draw 2moro now, leaving it open at the top on the final day, or an arsenal win
