Lumley Smith, Pav,Manning BFG,Furlong for me but its a close call on several fronts in my opinion and I admit to a bias towards Manning based on hiostory not the present. Also thought Hall got better as the game went on and longer term we wnat him to get as much gametime as possible surely? The agony of choice!
My guess is that he will play as strong a team as possible on Saturday, and a weaker team on Tuesday. After Smith's MOM performance last night I will be surprised if he doesn't get another start Saturday, especially as we are at home. Unless Cameron or Rangel are ready again, I think he might go with last night's team, but with Pav back in for BOS.
I haven't seen any award, but he has the highest rating now on LFW, sounded like he was one of our best from the Official Live Commentary, and looks one of the best in the extended highlights. He scored one and helped make the other, so he must be up there or there abouts. Seems to have scared the hell out of Portsmouth too, there Manager admitted they couldn't cope with him.
I would like to see this: Wells, Eze BOS, Luongo, Freeman, Pav Bidwell, Lynch, Hall, Furlong Lumley I feel that Luke would be even more effective in the middle with Mass tidying up.
So Watford play Saturday then not again until Friday whereas we have a Tuesday game. Not exactly ideal.
It is good to see this thread again as recently there would have only been one post. I agree with Beth's choices for both matches - so most probably they will be totally different. I do expect to see Eze and Paweł in the starting line up. I am not sure on Lesitner, but I follow Beth's logic.
Pawel has been crap recently. Think BOS deserves a chance on the right. He’s not as effective on the left IMO.
BOS has played well and think that he deserves his place in the first team. However there are tactics over the next games where the Watford is the key one. Plus would BOS be most effective from the start or to come in in the 2nd half. It will be very interesting to see what McClaren decides to do.
