Due to high boredom levels today lets start thinking about tomorrow nights game instead of companions on a desert island.......

    Green
    Henry, Ned, Hall, Konchesky
    Sandro, Petrasso
    Phillips, Fer, Hoilet
    Austin

I'd give Faurlin a rest to save him for the Burnley game when he can make Barton chase the ball all over the place......

    Thoughts?

    Green
    Perch, Ned, Hall, Konchesky
    Sandro, Faurlin, Petrasso
    Phillips, Hoilett
    Austin

Basically same as Saturday only playing Charlie from start. Why change a winning formula especially when Reading are low in confidence and are there for taking.

Apologies I thought Petrasso (as was Yun), was poor on sat. Not knocking him, as he's young, just giving my opinion.

Looks about right to me. Expect Ale would benefit from a rest, but then I'd like to see Luongo play alongside Sandro. Possibly Perch instead of Henry.

Must admit Os I'm not sure why Luongo has been omitted for the last few weeks and would be probably a better option beside Sandro than Petrasso.

The Henry/Perch situation is an odd one because when we signed Perch I automatically assumed he was a RB but he hasn't looked comfortable there and Henry did okay there the couple of times he's played at RB......

Good job we only have to talk about theses things and not actually make the decisions eh?

Maybe Colin's last game to make them too for a while a least. Big shame.

I never found out what Warnock's personal issues were. Care to enlighten me?

    My team:

    ------------------------------------Green-----------------------------------
    Perch----------------Ned-------------------Hall---------------------Yun
    ------------------------Sandro-----------Faurlin-------------------------
    Phillips---------------------------Fer-----------------------------Hoilett
    ------------------------------Austin----------------------------------------

Col, seems that his wife has some form of cancer, not sure what stage they are at but obviously that has to take priority.....

Apparently his wife has cancer, sadly.

Beat me to it Tramore. A colleague of mine's wife has cancer, which is not progressing well. We asked him how he wanted to play it and signed him off work, the only humane way to do it. Warnock still has relatively young kids, even if the prognosis is good it's obvious where he should be.

Oh ****!! This news completely passed me by.

Of course he should be at home.

All the best to Neil and his wife.

If you want to rest Ale, I would put Doughty in there. Sandro will look after him. Petrasso is a winger, surely?
I would also have Yun instead of Konch.

So it appears we are about to name a new manager, who we all believe is Jimmy Floyd.

However, the papers are full of talk about
1 Our attempt to buy Ravel Morrison for a cut price £750,000
2 Our offer to re-employ Chris Ramsey as an assistant coach

Both these points the "old-fashioned me" feels are entirely the decision of the new manager. Please reassure me that this is just paper talk, and such decisions will be left to the new manager. I do not care if they are good decisions or bad, I just think that if we are employing him to do a job, please let him without interference..

If these stories were absolutely true ...if I was JFH I wouldn't come!
(I think that is what I am a bit scared of)

Probably the DoF's decision to make not the Head Coach, though the latter would understanderbly want a big say.
