Yes I know it's a bit early but there is not much else going on!

So assuming we have a fully fit squad who do we start with at Newcastle. Do we start with the same 11 that outplayed City or would you make any changes?

    Should Adam start?

Keep the same team, with Shaw in for Fox at LB.

Will be interesting to see if Forren starts. Jos hasn't done much wrong but you'd have to think that Forren has had enough time to acclimatise..

You dont think Davis has shown enough to warrant a start ahead of Ramirez?

I'd actually like to see Forren play a bit before suggesting he goes straight into the starting line up...

It's a close call but at the end of the day Ramirez has a lot more in his locker than Davis. But I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if Davis started instead - he has been on good form.

And how are you going to see him play if he doesn't start? He will only come off the bench if a CB gets injured or we're defending a lead and he comes on with a few minutes to go.

Same team that started against City, but Shaw in for Fox. They deserve it!

Interestingly, Pardew has said he can't start a full-strength side against both Metalist on Thursday and ourselves on Sunday. I wonder which game will take priority for Newcastle?

for me place Shaw in for fox and thats about it. I know most of you wont believe me but I said directly after the wigan game to a few people that Davis should start ahead of Gaston. He gives us a little bit more Bite and does the simply things well it fits in well with the high pressing game. Although Gaston has got the ability and can be sensational I dont think now is his time. we need to be dogged hard working style of team to get us away from the drop.

    Right then, I'd go with...

Boruc; Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Shaw; Cork, Schneiderlin; Rodriguez, Davis, Lallana; Lambert.

Puncheon has been good this season, but his indecision still winds me up.

Also, I'd have broken up Yoshi and Jos had they not been so formidable last game.

    Form team
    -------------------Boruc-----------------
    ---Clyne----Yoshida-------Jos------Shaw
    --------------Cork-----Morgan------------
    ---Puncheon------------------Lallana------
    -----------------Lambert------------------
    ------------------Rodriguez---------------

With Lambert playing as a striker as well but I want Rodriguez to be working the channels like he did against city, so usually just ahead of Lambert.

    Best team:

    -------------------Boruc-----------------
    ---Clyne------Yoshida---Forren------Shaw
    --------------Cork-----Morgan------------
    ---Puncheon-------Ramirez-------Lallana--
    -------------------Lambert---------------

Agree with your line ups rabbit except my ideal CB pairing would be Fonte and Forren. Don't think Yoshida on his day is quite as all round effective as Fonte. As for Forren, well we're all just guessing/hoping really.

Away from home, and against a travel weary side, I`d go for Davis ahead of Ramirez. Shaw in for Fox, other than that I`d play the same side.

Er...I wouldn't put Lallana in our form team. Davis instead.

Don't rate Davis highly but he has been good in the last few games so would have him in instead.

For me the only change would be Shaw in for Fox. I'd also like to see Forren come in as a sub once before starting. Maybe this game we can avoid an injury and get him in in place of Jos.

Why? If Pochettino thinks he's good enough then that's fine by me, he has seen him in training for the last 3 weeks. I think that's more than long enough to make an informed judgement.

Afternoon Saints fans. This is a massive game for both clubs, so while I'm really hoping you stay up, I have to wish for a Toon win. Going to be a tough one though. Should be good game for the neutrals, but a real nerve wracker for the fans.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully we'll be playing each other again in the prem next season. <ok>
