With Nedum Onuoha unavailable and Bardsley a major doubt (or thats what the press had it as last week) how do we line up on sunday at the City of Manchester Stadium

    I would go with...

    ----------------- Mignolet -----------------

    - Ferdinand - Mensah - Bramble - Richardson

    ---- Henderson - Cattermole - Muntari ------

    - Sessegnon ------ Gyan -------- Welbeck -

    subs:

Bardsley (If he is fit he starts over Ferdinand but if he aint up to 90mins on the bench)
    Gordon
    Zenden
    Riveros
    Malbranque
    Elmohamady
    Campbell

I dont think I have missed anyone out

Man City are a top side but if we can get amongst them and make it hard for there top players Yaya Toure, David Silva and Carlos Tevez then we stand a chance

    I am going for a 2-2 draw

Poolie mate, with 3 of our geezers training in Ghana, then 4 of our players playing on tuesday, and none of Citeh playing, recon we will get well beat.
all of the top clubs rested players, we did not. sorry mate, as patriotic as I am, we have to be the same as the so called big boys, club first, country second. As for score, I would take a draw. But have big dreads, just hope I am wrong.

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard believes midfielder Jack Wilshere and striker Andy Carroll should have the final say on whether they play for England in the Under-21 Euro Championship.
    Full story: Daily Mirror

The question is, which is more important to some players, internationals or the EPL? - all of our Ghanaian contingent played in a great game and are no doubt proud that they did. Jordon and Asamoah both scored goals, we're near full strength for the first time since when and OP, that looks to be a good team - I agree, I think we'll cause them problems.

We will win 5-0, Quinn will be knighted in January, we will have a hot winter and we are not at war in Lybia, all true.

Syd thanks for that advice. I'm off to Ladbrokes to bet on the treble. I'll leave the Libya one out though.

    ----------------- Mignolet -----------------

    - Ferdinand - Mensah - Bramble - Richardson

    ----------------Cap'n Catt------------------

    Henderson---------------------------Muntari

    -----------------Sessegnon----------------

    ----------- Gyan -------- Welbeck---------

Diamond, Sess pushing up behind the 2 strikers.

We can't stop Cuty from attacking well, but we can certainly cause them to pap themselves about Gyan tearing Lescott a 3rd new arsehole to go with Tuesdays.

Get Munt and Jordan pushiong right on a-la Ghana and supporting Gyan and Wellbeck on top, and make it so City need 3 to beat us.

Catts as a sweeper more or less, don't risk Bardo, as if he worsened the injury it would be tragic.

In an ideal world I would like to see Bardsley playing on the right, as I feel he hasn't been quite so good on the left...
