Is anyone confident we can beat Liverpool, even with our new signings... Considering they just got Adam, and maybe Downing will join. To add to an already pretty strong team... As the teams stand now i say, lucky to get a draw, hoping for a good hard working performance.
Not confident, but I definitely think we have a shot. If we signed a decent left winger and forward I'd say we'd almost be on a par with them.. Am I the only one who thinks everyone seems to be overhyping liverpool? All their signings are hugely overrated imo, they're good players no doubt but I don't think any are CL level currently... Downing blows hot and cold, Hendo I'm sorry to say but I think everyone here will agree is nowhere near top 4 standard yet? Adam stood out last year but in a below average blackpool team, and for every good thing he did there was a blunder that seemed to get glossed over because everyone loved him. He's a good player no doubt but not as good as everyone seems to be making out. Carroll is undoubtedly a quality player and unfortunately I do think he's the face of the future of our national football team. However he's still young and only has 1/2 year experience in the premier league.. I don't remember him doing anything noteworthy since he returned from injury for the bindippers? And as for the rest of the players mentioned, kuyt any liverpool fan will tell you is not a great player, hard worker but not technically brilliant. And gerrard is getting on a bit now though undoubtedly still an incredible player. The only one from that lineup which really really scares me is Suarez who I honestly think is one of the best players in the league.... Nothing to worry about there then TLDR: quietly confident, yeah
every time for me, the lads quality he showed what he did at the end of last season, composed, gets his foot in and superb passer.

Plan B we have plan C and D. Bruce sign Zog or Krancjar and Defoe and you have got it sorted. Top 6 an Europe would be a real possibility.
