Strange decision that. Some very soft reds this season. Yes it's two footed but both of them are going at it. But I guess that are the rules?
Two footed, studs showing. You know the rules. We all know it was a soft and ridiculous sending off, but the laws of the game were applied correctly.
By the letter of the law it was a red. It won't be rescinded. And so the ref made a "good" decision. Taking my SAFC-supporting hat off though, I think the FA are just ruining games. This is not a dirty match, and that was not a malicious challenge. A yellow would have sufficed.
Not a dirty tackle or a sending off "really". Nothing the ref can really do under the current rules though and he had to go. We all know those rules are ****e but we all know what they are and so did Hangeland.
Poor first half. No pace going forward and giving the ball away all the time. Lucky to be still at 0-0 even against 10 men. Session having a mare, I would bring on Whichham and go with 2 strikers. We are only playing 10 men but they still look better than us.
