Assuming we can call upon all of our squad I see no reason to change the formation at all up to the Man Utd game where we may revert back to one up front to combat their midfield: Mignolet Bardsley, JOS, Mangane, Rose Sessegnon, Catts, N'Diaye, Johnson Fletcher, Graham Westwood, Cuellar, Larsson, Gardener, McClean, Colback, Bramble If Rose and Catts are not available then Gardener to midfield and Colback to emergency full back.
Looks just about right for me, except I'd select Bardo over Gardner at RB, and Gardner instead of Catts. Catts on his day is excellent, however, I'm losing my patients with him. He's a liability at times which makes me nervous. I'd choose Gardner over him in CM all day.......and Colback at LB.
Do nicely for me mate. I would fear the worst if we were relying on Larsson to disrupt the likes of Berba or Taarabt!
One big question still urks me, How long does it take Mangane to get fit? Must have came with a broken ankle by the sounds of it. Also this Dubai trip seems to have done **** all except now we look tanned losing! Agree with Cest's team though, we must persist with 4-4-2 to see how it works, you cant judge it on one game.
Totally this mate. Bardo has had a tough time but imo he is still the best RB at the club and Gardener is getting shafted more and more easily imo. We need Gardener in his proper role battling for a midfield place instead of Larsson.
