Bridcutt still out and Bardsley suspended. Gotta think Gus will go with the same formation as against Everton. ..

It won't happen but remember when Colback had a worldy at right back in the win over Everton last April. I think he'd do a better job than Celustka and their right footers would be cutting in onto his stronger side like when he had Pienaar in his back pocket.

Just think celustka would get mauled having not played enough at this level and not at all recently. I referenced the time Colback played right back and had a cracking game. Also think him being left footed helps as they'll be cutting inside.

Id play Gardner ahead of Celustka but id prefer him in the middle for his shooting ability.

But we play with a left footed inside forward. To play a left footed fullback on the right too would give us no balance or width what so ever. It would give an overlapping Clichy a free pass all game to the byline. Just my opinion of course.

All opinion mate of course. Clichy is Johnsons responsibility when he goes forward imo and he goes to the bi line and looks to cross it. The left winger (nasri maybe) will be cutting inside which is where I think Colback would nulify the threat. Worked against Baines and Pienaar.

If we're going to score I reckon it's on the break. I'd like our quickest, trickiest forwards on the pitch to achieve that.

He's not a winger I'll accept that, he's a forward, but he'll never have the luxury he had of playing that far up the pitch as he did at Citeh. He needs to accept that he needs take on the defensive responsibilities of a winger even though he's not playing that role. Fullbacks need protecting.

Colback and Giacch doing defensive work against their attacking width. Catts doing his usual. Ki to try to retain possession and get good ball into Connor. Connor played well Sat I'd keep him in to hold ball up and with AJ getting beyond him. AJ off for Borini when he tires (30 mins!)

make your f**king mind up if you underlap the overlap from outside in instead of inside out your byline becomes the width of balance ffs and it wouldnt be a free pass he would have to pay
