Good line up but think bellers and hendo will have to fairly rigid positionally as cardiff are decent down the wings.

Hendo isn't a right sided player, would be silly to play him there infront of Johnson. Would prefer Kuyt to start.
Keeper and defenders pick themselves, as does Gerrard. For me Hendo, Spearing and Downing will make up midfield. Suarez and Carroll up front. Would love Bellers to start but can't see it happening.
This won't happen, but it's what I'd like -------------Reina Johnson--Skrtel--Agger--Enrique ----Hendo-------------Adam ------------Gerrard --Suarez---------------Bellamy -------------Carroll Kind of like a 4-3-3, with Gerrard more advanced than Adam and Hendo, and Carroll more advanced than Bellamy and Suarez. Most of the wing play would be with our full backs and Bellamy and Suarez joining now and then. I don't like to see Adam or Hendo on the flanks. Spearing may well come in for Adam/Hendo if we fancy tightening it up.
I'd start this but with Spearing in for Adam/Hendo from the start. Adam is so immobile, he's almost a liability unless he has a defensive midfielder alongside him. Without one he commits so many lazy fouls and teams go through us too easily. I like Adam so don't get me wrong, i just think that any team that moves the ball quickly has an edge on us when he plays without Spearing or Lucas. I think i'd start him ahead of Henderson as he's started to find his passes now, with a few absolute peaches from the deep left side (like his assist for Carroll against Wolves). Unfortunately Kenny hasn't seemed keen to start Bellamy Suarez AND Carroll all at the same time. I hope he does though as if those 3 click with Gerrard as well we could destroy them.
Rather unbelievably ,cos Im not a big Adam fan either, I believe Adam run the furthest in the entire team every game, off the stats.I think its cos he sort of trundles around consatntly where someone like Hendo seems to do lots of short sprints, but doesnt clock up as many yards during the game
DDD....., That's the problem with Optima and all other stats. The yardage number is, of itself, useless unless it can related to the effectiveness of those yards. After all you can measure the amount of effort that I put into a day but it won't show you how much effort I put into avoiding any work
