I can see the likes of Baldock and Davies thriving off the skill and creativity of Danns so will make us a real threat. Bates and Wilson III we have to try but cant see him dropping fontaine, I really don't see us seeing much of WilsonIII

Same as Shiny and ROD for me, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see the 2 centre backs juggled about a bit with Carey and Fonts in the mix,i.e, 2 from any 4............looks like from all the reports that its imperative the Danny boy starts in the middle though. Is he the missing link we so desperately need?

I like Baldock up front but it's great to have a target man that can hold the ball and lay off and I think Taylor is a young tryer, ideal to play along side Davies..

When I went to brighton last year we had wood upfront, brighton didn't even struggle to contain him so I don't think a target mans the way to go, Also theres only 1 inch difference between davies and taylor

Go the other route,Sam Baldock is only 5'-7" and Ryan Taylor is 6'-2" and Davies is electric in or out of the box, just my preference,I am more than happy if he chooses your 11 mate....<ok>

Unless there are injuries and any extra tiredness in the more elderly members of the team, why would DMc want to change a winning team?
I still think Carey has played one season too many but he did have a very good match v Boro. Likewise Fonts did pretty well. And there are one or two others that would not be my first choice. BUT the team did alright v Boro so I say leave well alone.
From the video I think it was Ryan Taylor who failed to clear the ball from which Boro scored so the back four were a lot better than of late. So why tinker unless there are physical reasons so to do?

Agree'd Cider, but I would be happier with Bates & Liverpool's Wilson in place of Fonts and Carey
How often do they need to screw up before we get the point ?

Can't see this happening, he will go 5 in midfield again and with elliot as the sole holding midfielder is asking for trouble because imo he's not good enough with the ball at his feet. I'd also replace Taylor with Baldock as he offers more to holding up the play

BRR I entirely agree with your comments on our current central defensive pairing. I suspect Carey will not play tomorrow as he is probably knackered after Saturday.
Bates may be back if his hamstring was a "convenient" way of DMc not to play him against his home town team so soon after coming to us.
I personally do not understand how any player can want to play and win against "their team". I know Chris Garland found it difficult playing for Leicester City against The Robins.

Blimey Wiz, your changing a winning team, you will be accused of having the Del syndrome. :)
