Following on from today this is my guess: Harper Rosenior, Chester, Davies, Figueroa Koren, Huddlestone, Quinn, Boyd Sagbo, Aluko Subs: McGregor, Faye, Bruce, Meyler, Elmo, Fryatt, Henderson/J-M It's stronger than the team I'd play, but it's the one I think we'll see. Personally I'd chuck Faye in, and try to find a way of playing Fryatt instead of Huddlestone (obviously Aluko into midfield) but he brought Huddlestone off early today so he'll probably use him.
Think Huddlestone came off to keep him safe as he'd had a bit of a knock and those foreign savages started kicking our lads. I wouldn't play Huddlestone. Harper Chezzy Faye Bruce Elmo Meyler Quinn Boyd Fryatt Sagbo Aluko Or Harper Elmo Chezzy Faye Figgy Boyd Meyler Quinn Aluko Fryatt Sagbo
For me 3-5-2 Harper Bruce, chester, faye Elmo, quinn, aluko , meyler, boyd Sagbo, fryatt Wouldn't risk Rosie as he has only just come back, rest hudd and curtis. Aluko playing advanced cm with meyler and quinn sitting deep.
My guess he'll keep Davies, Hudd, and Bruce (knock) on the bench. Otherwise a pretty aggressive midfield. Should be plenty of movement there. Harper Rossy Chester Faye Figgy Elmo Meyler Boyd Aluko Fryatt Sagbo McGregor Davies Bruce Koren Quinn Hudd Henderson
I'm sure he'll put out a strong team to try and win the game, as well as keeping the NUFC game in mind.
I wouldn't play Faye. He couldn't keep up with them last time. Lesson learnt there I hope. Harper Rosenior Chester Bruce Fig Aluko Huddlestone Quinn Boyd Fryatt Sagbo
Chessie back is a plus But you need some steel in your midfield Ricardo, so Meyler/Livermore in for Quinn
I'd take Meyler as that swap, but he's just done a full game today and Quinn is bound to get a run out. Plus Quinn is the kind of player that runs around everywhere having nibbles at players all over the place, I think he'd add more steel than Livermore. Livermore I'd see as the midfielder that goes pushing forward more where Quinn can easily be a sitting midfielder. He reminds me of Dean Keates in his style. Whenever Ashbee played Keates would be the one going off forward, but if Ashbee was out for some reason he'd be the sitter.
