OK so what should MP do? We were very poor defensively yesterday but I dont know if injuries will allow him much scope to bring players back. Hoping Luke is over his sore throat and Clyne is fit. Don't think we have any option but to persevere with Gazza but Cardiff play a lot of high balls so he needs to come off his line more. Jos has to go I'm afraid.

    My starter for 10 is

    Gazza

    Clyne Maya Lovren Shaw

    Morgan Cork

    JWP Davis Adam

    Dani

Subs Cropper Clyne Fonte Reed Gaston Rickie Gallagher

Rickie was poor yesterday and think we need Dani's extra pace up front away from home. Obviously start with Jose if he's fit.

Someone yesterday suggested putting danny fox in goal. Might work. Sarcasm aside, its all down to who's available really. I dont hold rickie, or any attacking player responsible for yesterdays result. We scored 2 goals, we conceded 3. Says it all. Get well soon artur.

Want Fonte and Boruc back:emoticon-0107-sweat. Would add Clyne, but at least we have decent cover for him. Does anyone know what is the matter with Dani...I hope it wasn't because Nicola had him whipped. On the bright side, we scored two good goal yesterday....on another day that would be enough.

Lamballana, you fallen out with Jayrod? Not even on your bench?

Just shows how tough picking a team is.

I would still have Jos ahead of Yoshida. Jos was shown to be not good enough by 2 teams at the top of the table. Yoshida was made to look just as bad by a team that only made 4 chances. I see Cardiff as more of the latter in calibre.

I would have the same team as today with Shaw, Fonte and Clyne back if fit. Chambers not a problem if Clyne needs to be an only if but Cardiff (in my eyes) is now a 'must win' just to return some moral to the dressing room and to keep us on course for a top half finish.

If everyone is fit that we know/think they will be my team would be:

    Gazzaniga
    Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw
    Cork Schneiderlin
    Rodriguez Davis Lallana
    Osvaldo

Subs: Cropper, Yoshida, Chambers, JWP, Lambert, Ramirez, Gallagher.

I agree that Lambert was poor yesterday. He hasn't seemed himself for a couple of games. However, I never thought Osvaldo was blessed with pace. In fact he still looks a bit chunky to me. Surely Rodriguez is the one with pace.

Cropper is not the answer for me. I can't see him faring any better than Gazzaniga.

You also have Clyne starting and on the bench. <whistle>

I reckon Osvaldo will be banned and Lambert will have to start this game. We'll see though.

I watched a USA u21 game with Cropper in goal and he looked OK.

My gran could do better than Gazza. We may as well not have a keeper atm, why he didnt even attempt claim that Adebayor goal is a complete mystery.

He is easily the worst keeper I have ever seen in a saints shirt, and he hasn't showed any signs of improvement in two years. This is his 4th game in a row and I would even say he is getting worse. He hasn't even come close to many saveable shots. I stick by players as much as I can, but it's embarrassing to be honest. He is nowhere near ready to play in the championship let alone PL.
