Back 4 picks itself Is it just me who doesn't like Gerrard playing centrally and deep? I'd stick him behind a lone striker (suarez)or on the right. I assume you mean Skrtel and not Enrique at CB? Otherwise i reckon that team is quite likely (the bottom one)
(Reposted from another thread) With Jones playing, we need Agger starting. Hopefully he's ready after the last two sub appearances - same applies for Johno too, but he's only had 60mins. Enrique's had a good rest lately, he should be sharp and ready. Skrtel is a machine and doesn't need a rest, he'll be up for it. ------------Jones------------- -Johnson-Skrtel-Agger-Enrique- -Henderson-Spearing-Shelvey- ------Maxi--------Suarez----- -----------Carroll------------- For me, Carroll deserves his start, Maxi also, same for Shelvey and Henderson. Suarez will link up will with Maxi and Spearing allows Shelvey to push up and support like he did against Blackburn. Hendo played well and we'll need his energy against Everton. Young and pacy defence/midfield means we can push higher and protect Jones a bit better as well as allowing Shelvey/Hendo to help out support the attacks. Besides, imagine at 50mins if things are tight and you have Gerrard/Bellamy/Kuyt/Downing all ready to bring on!
I think Henderson and Carroll deserve to play after their performance on Tuesday, I think Maxi should be pushing for a place too. Johnson and Agger got decent run outs so they could both come back in. Obviously, we are down to our third and fourth choice keepers now too. I'd prefer not as I think the back four I selected above is without doubt our strongest. However, if Carragher is selected then I support both the player and manager. Despite no longer being at his best and, IMO, being at fault for his fair share of goals this season, Jamie has always given 100% and always will. He deserves the respect and support of the Liverpool fans.
