Maybe a bit premature lol but there are far too many Bruce threads on this forum at the moment for my liking! I'm sure there will be a massive amount of variation here, will be interesting to see what team everyone would like to see played against le arse? You can add reasons for your choices if you want, or not if you're feeling lazy! Anyway, to get the ball rolling, here's my effort... MIG Elmo Brown Laing Bardo Larsson Gardner Vaughan Sess Richo Jiii Reasons: Elmo played well at the weekend and I like him at full back, gets forward well, defending a bit suspect but no worse than richo and I'd rather have richo in a more advanced position. Turner was awful against brom, we keep hearing about how talented young Laing is, about time he showed it imo. I don't care how young he is, if he's good enough then lets see what he's got. Especially next to someone like Brown who will be able to help him alot, and against arsenal away where we're not expected to get anything so no pressure.Bardo to LB because, well, it's bardo. Vaughan and Gardner in the middle as they're the best central midfield pairing we've seen so far this season - Catts wasn't up to much against Brom and was lucky not to go imo - needs to learn to keep his cool or be shipped out, it's getting ridiculous now.. Sess to the left as it's his best position. Likewise Larsson to the right. Richo back to his natural position, every time he's played there he's done well, gives us some much needed pace up front, more direct than Sess and a real goal threat. Not a fan of 4-5-1, but with Bendtner unavailable and it being Arsenal away I think it's our best option. Close call between Ji and Wickham, went with Ji because he already has a goal against one the big London clubs, hopefully he can repeat that feat! I'm aware nee ****er is gonna read any of that, but feel free to criticize / improve / post your own suggestions
Easy for me this one....if that team is put out, i will suffer the match alone, as it will be murdered. Plus Bardo still has a game left i think...
I think Bardo has 1 more match to miss, but we wil need him for Arsenal away !. We should go 6-4-0 !.
bardo wont be able to play (4 match ban) Elmo, Oshea, Brown, Ricco Sess, Gardner, Vaughn, Larsson Ji and wickham Arsenal are weak defensively, and they has lost their RB to a broken leg against spurs. The only way to get any points from this one is to attack - i reckon we could get a couple of goals.
Agree with how to beat them mate not sure about your team though, Richardson at LB is a no go for me has been for the last 2 seasons unfortunately. Play him on the wing when Larsson gets knackered running all day. 2 up front er are you on the Moroccan Woodbines mate as we all know that will not happen, it should and I agree that they should but Sir Steve of Bruce will have different ideas.
Switch Gardner with Catts and that's your team. If Wickham is injured get the TANK on, they are weak as **** and imo if we get after them and bully them ala stoke we will win an win well. KTF

I'd go for a disciplined team that can hold its shape better and stiffle Arsenals attacking plans. Try to keep changes and positional replacements to a minimum. Mig O Shea, Brown, Turner, Richo (we cant keep buggering up the back 4 just to accomodate players) Catts, Vaughan Larsson, Gardener, Sess Ji Westwood, Laing, Wickham, Cook, Meyler, Colback, Elmo

I wouldnt play Catts, he still cant play intelligent passes. The only thing he will do against arsenal is get sent off
Ahh I thought bardo was just a 3 game ban, my mistake. In that case, I think this is probably the team I would go for as well, although, the thought of richo AND elmo being our full backs is a scary one.. Why not switch Larsson and Sess, btw?
Can't believe I am saying this but I agree with Cest. Catts has got to play, Arsenal hate tough tackles the way to beat them is to get in their faces and don't give them space, Catts is the best player we have for that, the midfield looked much better with him in it at the weekend. Agree about the back 4 we need to keep the same players in to get consistancy.

I like Tina and given a few games he will be solid again , but Arsenal has to be the quickest team in the league. He will get ripped to shreds. elmo---- brown------o'shea-----richardson for me or ---------brown-----o'shea-----turner------- elmo-----------------------------------richardson
