Ebere Eze and Ilias Chair didn't feature for the U23's in a 2-1 victory against Huddersfield today. I expect them to at least be on the bench. As for the crowd I've had a look at the interactive seating map and sales look very poor. I reckon the crowd will be less than 7,000 unless Brentford bring a few and more R's fans than expected turn up and pay on the night.

    QPR U23s:
Dieng, Kakay, Hamalainen, Comley, Paul, Fox, Prohouly (Tilt 65), Wallen (Owens 65), Oteh, Akinola (Cardoso 65), Alfa.

    Subs not used: Hudnott.

    Goals: Prohouly 42, Oteh 83.

    Bookings: Wallen 41, Comley 45.

I've just bought tickets for me and my son - a fiver each.

I'd like to see Eze get a game. He looked like he had something about him when I saw him last season (I think it was Blackburn in the Cup).

I hear that the ticket sales are still quite low. That is disappointing as it is a local derby with attractive ticket sales. Hopefully we will get to the 10,000 mark for the match, otherwise we could be almost numbered by Brentford which would be embarrassing.

As for the team, I have no idea except that there will be a focus upon the reserves as the Cardiff match will be a big one and a real test.

I would also expect Ollie to continue (well at least to the kick off) with his 3:5:2 system, so something like this:

    ---------------------Ingram-----------
    -------Baptiste-- Onouha-- Caulker-------
    -Furlong ------------------------ Robinson-
    -------Borysiuk --Chair---Manning----
    ----------------XXXX---- Sylla------------

    Plus a fairly strong bench.

Beth, that is a very sensible team that does allow Ned to have a rest.

On the other hand, I don't think that Ollie will field a team a pure current reserves players and I expect a couple of the "regular" first eleven will be blended in. Who is anyone's guess, but hope fully it will be the result of analysis of the fitness staff. However, I personally would not be surprised if it were Ned.

As for the formation, I am coming to the conclusion that Oliie's "prefered" 3:5:2 wingback system only seems to really work\s when Paweł Wszołek is on the pitch, and seems almost customised to incorporate him. However, by hook or by crook, it does seems that we are able to operate a cunning very flexible system of formations. :)
