Here is the team I would play against Torquay: Bull Mccoy, Westwood, Johnson, Sandell Lewis Bloomfield, Donnelly Ainsworth (if fit)/Betsy , Rendell, Beavon Its a bit harsh that Montrose doesn't feature, but I think Lewis is on better form and that both of them are too similar to be played in the same team. In effect, they both play so deep they are in effect almost like defenders, and it brings such a defensive and therefore negative mentality to the team. Bloomfield and Donnelly are more attacking, and should carry the right mentality on the pitch. I would start Beavon, as Pittman doesn't have the legs to last 90 minutes. Pittman should come on around 60 minutes though,as he has the pace to terrorise tiring defences. Lastly, I would play Mccoy, as I think his performances have been far superior to Foster, and also Westwood, as explained in a previous thread.
Although I'm not really qualified to comment, as I don't get to matches, I totally agree with your comment about Pittman. He doesn't seem to perform unless brought on late and, with his pace, is a great asset late in the game.
