We need to play abit defensively for the city game because even a draw would do. the problem with us recently is we allow the opponents's midfield too much time on the ball. we need to play with our usual formation for big games which is normally 4-5-1 .......................................De Gea................................. ..Jones/Smalling.........Evans..............Ferdinand....Evra(c).... ...................................Carrick....................................... ....Valencia..........Scholes............Giggs............Nani........... ....................................Rooney..................................... We need Giggs for his experience and Carrick can sit behind the defense, this formation will not allow Man City's midfield too much time on the ball and we expect them to have more time on the ball because their at home and we can hit them on the counter. I hope this is the team. Also we can't take any risk so i would say either Smalling or Jones over Rafael because we need height as well. i hope Sir Alex don't rest Scholes because we need his passing because we will be on pressure and Scholes never cracks under pressure and he always picks on great passes out wide.
